How does your game fit the theme?
The original plan was to have a progression of the weather becoming more and more intense. Starting from calm to full blown thunderstorm. However, I did not have time for the weather progression. The game only has a calm phase, with a storm in the background. So the game is quite literally "Calm, before the storm."
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, none of the assets were made by me. They are all free assets.

I would have really liked to see how that weather progression system would have affected the gameplay. But as it is its a very pleasant little golf game!
I'd love to see the weather progression implemented and have it affect the course with things like wind or mini tornados as dynamic obstacles. However, the game itself is still fun and easy to understand. I think the colliders could be adjusted to be more accurate to the terrain, and the conditions for hitting the golf club are too strict; specifically, if the golf ball is rolling even slightly, the player has to wait until the ball is completely still to hit it again. Since this is a single-player game, I think making the conditions more lenient for continuing to the next stroke would be best.
Actually, a really fun game! I was very calm while the storm came my way. I golfed a +15 my first play through and then on the second play through I got a hole in one on the second hole before I glitched the game on the third hole :( (Can't hit the ball if you on a slant) Great work tho!
