The fighting system is really cool, well done! Feels polished. That visuals style (shaders) create an oppressive atmosphere. The tutorial was good, too. Can't complain about the lack of music, since silence fit the mood, but some ambient sounds (wind howling, water dripping, etc.) would've improved the immersion even further.

So good. Figuring out the harder enemy's and beating them feels very satisfying.

Really enjoyed it :), even though, in the "stone room" they got me stuck in the corner and died

Really enjoyed it. Blew my expectations. The blocking mechanic was really unique and the feedback felt really good

Would love to get some indicator on where to block though, the game moves so quick you barely have time to judge where the strike will land

Really amazing game! Looking forward to your next game!

P.S: got a really funny/weird moment where the normal skeleton kept dodging all my attacks (DID NOT KNOW THEY CAN DO THAT IT'S SO COOL)

It's very interesting, I like it too... I also had problems with the time, this is apart but can you try my game?

I had a lot of fun! And it was harrrd! I couldn't get past the last room with the big boss and like 7 normal skeletons haha. From someone who really loves Sekiro, I really loved the parry then strike strategy. Just one small critique from me is that I had a hard time determining just what is a mid attack. Otherwise, amazing job!

Thank you!

Don't worry, the last room is unbeatable haha! I was strapped for time and couldn't add more content, so the last room just loops infinitely. Also there is only one mid attack in the game, it's a part of low-high-mid combo. If an enemy starts with a low attack, it's guaranteed that the third attack in the combo will be mid.

Hey! I tried to launch the game, but it gives a fatal error with the text "failed to load mono". Do you happen to know how to solve this issue?

Thanks!

Developer

Apparently I didn't include MonoBleedingEdge folder in the archive! Ooops!

I fixed it.

Thanks for the fix! I enjoyed playing the game. It's very stylish and extremely elegant given the short amount of time for the jam.

I definitely agree with the other commenter - mid attacks are a bit tough to identify, and the difficulty of the game led me to throw in the towel after a couple attempts of that tough room; however, the concept of the combat is still really cool and streamlined, so it was a fun experience.

Great job!
