How does your game fit the theme?
The game is a resource collection game with dumb monsters that move aimlessly in the daytime but start to chase you after sunset. Therefore you must complete the tasks as fast as possible to avoid dying.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and designed the game. I used commercially usable graphical assets. The game has no sound for the Jam entry.

Nice simple game, some sound would have been good even if it's some background music, the gameplay gets repetitive after a while but great job on the game I quite liked the graphics.
Fun Game Liked it cool 2d pixel art good audio,
Loved it,
Do rate my game as well
It was interesting to bring stuff back and forth at least, but the skeletons were quite fast. Could have used some sound design and maybe a way to protect yourself and it could have been really interesting

it was decent fun, even though it might take a bit too long for nightfall to begin. carrying crops back and forth was kinda tedious but it wasnt bad. overall nice game, just thought id mention some stuff i noticed
I didn't have a lot of fun in this one, unfortunately. First of all, just going from point a to point b repetitively doesn't sound fun in the first place. It makes you kind of forget that you are not supposed to touch the skeletons, so when i did, i still continued to play for some time, which was the most exciting moment. If it was your first game, I would understand, but it isn't i think you can do better!
Simple yet pretty fun. few things to improve it after the jam could be:
Other than the above, I think the game is simple but pretty fun, nice job on it!
I love the simple but frantic nature of playing the game. Even though the skeletons wander randomly, the number of them, the speed, and the fact that one hit means that it's over makes the simple act of fetching harvested crops surprisingly tense to constantly do before the skeletons swarm in at night.
One main problem that I have is that the crops are often too close to each other or too far from each other. The crops bunched together make picking up all the crops from the patch, while fun, a bit monotonous for awhile. The crops separated into distance patches, on the other hand, makes finding new crops a needlessly aimless subtask. I definitely feel like there should be more patches but fewer crops scattered in each patch.
Well done! Nice art :D
Cool art style and animations. It would be better if there is bgm music.
Cool animations. But lacking direction on what to do. Could use some text explanations.
It's a cute little game, and I did enjoy how the AI "woke up" during the night and became more of a threat. I did find the core loop repetitive so would suggest halving the number of resources needed but making time go twice as fast so that players can get to the best bit quicker. Still got me playing a few times to try and beat it so well done!
It's a good game, but you could add background music and a scoreboard for people like me who didn't succeed on the first try :)
I'm so glad I discovered this game.
How cool! We also went with a farming and nightfall theme/inspiration, but it was interesting in yours the limitation of carrying an item. This was fun, nice job!
Really nice looking game you got, I also really liked the animation
Great start! I hope you continue to build off this premise, I think there is a good survival game here!
It's a cute premise, with a promising foundation to be built upon! Good job!
Nice idea and the graphics are pretty good, but the absence of background music is a bit jarring. FYI you can find a lot of music licensed under Creative Commons by Kevin MacLeod and other composers.
Thank you for the feedback. If I continue to develop this game, there's definitely some music and better level design in my roadmap.
What a neat idea! The assets get a little washy when playing on a higher resolution. Maybe there is a way to disable the antialiasing/smoothing. In unity for example the is the option to set the sprite to "point / no filter"
