How does your game fit the theme?
Capture the key - before the enemy captures you! There is a 5 second window of pressure-free platforming, before the timer ticks to zero and the enemy is after you.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code made by me. Some assets imported, CC0 and credit given.

I really liked the game design. The puzzle mechanics of the last level are very retro. It reminded me of the MS-DOS era.

I loved playing this game; perfect length, nice implementation of enemy-chasing, and good level design. I dislike that many of the platform positions require a max height jump, which means hugging whatever platform I'm aiming for to land on it, but once I got used to that it became even more fun.

Hee-ho. I like it. Very nice game. Thanks for good experience

At the start I was thinking that you shouldn't have make the enemies collide with the tilemap, but I was so wrong! You made a some very cool puzzles with that mechanic, I would've played a lot more!!

(1 edit)

You really captured the essence of the platformer's strengths, from the tight controls to the creative level design. Improving the visuals with a background would definitely elevate the overall aesthetic. Well done!

Nice platformer! Controls feel tight which is great and I love that you added coyote time. Level design is solid, I think the idea you had on the last level to force the player to wait for the enemies to move was cool. I think adding a background that's not a flat color would really bring the visuals up a notch. Great job on this!

Nice concept, would love if there were more levels, overall nice work!

Nice game. The levels were well thought out and the runs were smooth.

Nice game, level design was nice. I would suggest working on the visuals a little more, and maybe tweaking a bit the player controller (maybe look at things like jump buffering and coyote time). Overall, a cool little platformer.

I love the concept of this game! The level design is really fun, makes for interesting and puzzling platforming. Good job!

This game is an absolute triumph! The creativity, depth, and polish really set it apart.

Fun little game! I can see a lot of potential in this! The movement was snappy (Great!), and the pace of the game keeps it entertaining (Awesome!). Wish there was a bit more polish and more levels to play through! Congrats and good luck!

I love the concept behind this game, very cool idea! Very nice controls as well.

Probably just a godot issue but for some reason none of the assets loaded properly for me on Firefox, but worked fine in Chrome.

Love the tense music!

Neat game

1) Level design is great, each map has a different unique jumping challenge

2) The theme is used well, get as far as you can in the timer to get toward the key before enemies are activated

3) i love getting the enemies trapped on the walls so they cant hunt me mwahhaha

4) I like you can keep playing even after you get hit

5) I do  wish I was playing as the cool shadow sword guy though!
