How does your game fit the theme?
The game reflects the theme by placing the player in the "calm" and methodical task of analyzing intelligence reports to prevent or postpone major crises, in this case the "storm".
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and created most assets myself, following some tutorials for some specific mechanics. However, the audio is sourced externally.

Really cool concept, loved the visuals but was a bit confused in the beginning would've liked a tutorial but overall great job :D
Thanks! Glad you liked it. After the feedback I received, I’m thinking about continuing to work on the game, so I’ll add a tutorial. Appreciate the feedback!
This is pretty cool, I was initially attracted just by the cool name, and I am glad that I helped analyze a report of a certain "Michael Jackson" being a States spy. Others have already talked about the initial roughness, but I pretty rapidly picked up what to do--the game isn't so hard once you start memorizing things (the country logos is a good start). Anyway, pretty cool.
Check out my game too if you mind: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973838
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I checked out your game too and rated it, I really liked the concept and the idea behind it. It was also very unique, especially since I don’t usually play horror games. Great job!
I liked it, though it was hard to get everything at first. Nevertheless it became kind of boring, doing all the paperwork over and over. I wished it had more layers, just like in paper, please you had to talk with people and pay for stuff at the end of the day. But I understand it's all you had time for, so good job!
Thanks for the feedback! I understand how the repetition can feel dull over time. I’m considering continuing development, so critiques like this are really helpful. I'm glad you liked it!
I generally liked this game the gameplay loop was enjoyable but I think it really needs a tutorial or at least slowly introduce new types of documents because it took quite a bit of effort to figure out how things work at which point I already lost a lot of trust.
Thanks for the feedback! The lack of a tutorial is a major problem and a common critique. I’m considering continuing development, and that’s definitely something I plan to address in the future.
I will always love this type of game, the only comment I have is that the font size is so small and I am not able to find the full-screen option, and some highlights of the unfinished part could help players notice the things they need to check. overall good job!!!
I didn’t include a settings menu in the game, but it was supposed to launch in full screen by default, so that's likely a bug. Thanks for the feedback!
Really enjoyed this game! The gameplay feels nice and the pixel art graphics also fit very well. Had a blast playing this
One small suggestion would be to have a quick tutorial in the beginning though.
Other than that really liked this game!
I'm really glad you liked the pixel art style! The lack of a tutorial is a common critique I've received, and it's definitely something I want to address if I continue working on the game. Thanks for the feedback!
Has a lot of potential for a Papers Please style game, as counterintelligence instead of immigration.
I couldn't figure out how to send the checked documents, even after filling it out, putting the documents in the tray and clicking Send, nothing happened. Some guidance for the player on what is missing would be great.
Other than that, I think you have a solid foundation to make a more complete game, there's a real market for good Papers Please-esque games that is still not very well represented.
Thanks for your feedback! To send the report, you need to fill the date, country of origin, document type, threat, and the certificate (which is the stamp). All of these fields must be filled out before you can successfully send the report along with the document.
A very interesting game, a new play on those Mandela Catalogue series games, really cool. But, just like the others, a little tutorial, or explaining the mechanics in the game's description would have helped.
Thanks! I wanted to gradually reveal the mechanics to the player, but I just didn’t have enough time to implement it.
I think this game only needs a proper tutorial or a way to slowly introduce the player to each game mechanic, it needs to give the player some first baby steps :D But otherwise overall really good game, the inspiration is visible but you changed it up to make it your and unique, so I wouldn't call it a rip-off. Good job!
Thanks! I agree, a gradual introduction would really help. I’m glad it didn’t come across as a rip-off. Appreciate the feedback!
Great work! The game was fun, but I felt a bit lost at the start without a tutorial. Once I figured things out, it became much more engaging. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience!
Thanks! The start can definitely be confusing, I planned to add a tutorial but ran out of time. Appreciate the feedback!
really nicely done! my only problem with this was the lack of a tutorial because it was pretty confusing at first, but after that it was very interesting. nicely done!
Really cool concept! Found myself getting immersed in the fictional world lol. Love the graphics and audio. Really well executed. Just was confused at the beginning. Tip: Don't just throw a book of text for the player to read as a tutorial. If I have to read that much, than the game is just too complicated, either find a way to simplify it or make the game less of a hassle to figure out. Amazing game tho and can't wait to see more! :D
Nicely done and super impressive!! It legit felt like I was playing Papers Please!
Thanks!
It is a pretty good game, very atmospheric and similar in art style to Papers Please. Very satisfying gameplay loop.
Suggestions:
- Maybe instead of typing the date, we could use a stamp? I think I lose 1/12th of a game typing in the date lol.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the game! I really like the idea of making the date input less tedious. I was aiming for a bureaucracy vibe, but I agree that the date became too repetitive.
Bureaucratical content can also be "take Form 21Q and fill it in case if it is a sabotage, and include XYZ", and here you go in recreating bureaucratic hell (also a good way to expand and introduce new mechanics/events.
To multiply it... introduce NPCs who need to fillout part of your documents!
Now... imagine coding this into a game D:
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game
Thank you so much for playing ! The stream was fun and I appreciate the feedback you gave.
On my first day I only managed to understand what to do and sent one report. By the 4th day I was a government machine and completed all my documents hahah. Excelent concept, could be to totally build upon with more mechanics. The art was also super nice and fitting. Thanks for the game, I hope you continue working on it :D
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure yet if I'll keep working on it, as I have other projects on the go.
Really well put together. I definitely wasted my first day flipping through the book and trying to understand what exactly I needed to do, but that felt true to life haha...
Thank you! On the first day, you won’t lose government trust, so it’s meant for reading and figuring things out (though it could be clearer).
Flawlessly working game with neatly designed clues. Would be great to have some sort of atmospheric ambience in the background. Good job!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and adding atmospheric ambience is definitely a great idea!

had a great time! we need more games like this the genre is severely lacking. great job all round really well polished!
Thank you so much! I love games in this style, and this one was heavily inspired by *Papers, Please*, even though I've actually never played it.
