How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is set inside a hotel, a place with many doors of different kinds, with rooms accomodating many different kinds of people. We took inspiration from the intrigue behind closed doors in a hotel to develop a stealth-based puzzle game where you must complete your mission as a hitman secretly amongst a busy hotel with many guests entering and exiting their hotel rooms, and walking around the environment. It is a mechanic to be able to enter the rooms of your targets, assasinate and choose whether to hide their body behind - this emcompases the 'What's behind the door' as to the innocent hotel guests, they don't know what secret hitman activities are happening behind doors. This mechanic applies to the player aswell, who doesn't know exactly where every guest is, and whether they are behind a door, ready to come out and spoil your mission. We hope you enjoy :)
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code, developed our own 3D models. We used fully licensable free sound effects.

Great game!
Could you please rate my game ( https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2536045 )?
I like this game a lot. On a visual and audio level, it could've been better but the gameplay definitely makes up for it! Super fun to play. Maybe too much fun heheheheh.
I did encounter ONE bug: on one of the midgame levels(not sure which, it had 3 floors, and the bottom floor has one room, and the body disposal) I followed a victim into a room, and then the controls stopped working. I couldn't kill the target, or exit the room. Had to restart the game. Not sure exactly what system is breaking there, but just wanted to give the bug report.
Great job overall!
Fun game! I enjoyed sneaking around and trying not to get caught. Dumping the bodies down the garbage chute made me chuckle.
Great and unique game design! I'm very impressed by the game mechanics you were able to implement in just one week. Great work!
Nice little stealth game!
Fun game! I like how the stealth mechanic works.
Like others mentioned before I think it could do with some music. But all in all. Pleasant to play~
Neat concept with a really nice bunch of intro levels, great job!
Okay this was really fun! I liked this game a lot!
I liked the look and feel. The gameplay was very nostalgic.
I agree with others though, so sneaky music would've been great.
Cheers!

A little buggy here and there, but quite enjoyable!
I like the visual style a lot actually, it somehow reminds me of old windows 98 cd-rom games if that makes sense? Something about the camera and black void somehow elevates the barebones unity default rendering style into something a little more otherworldly. I doubt something as specific as that was the intention, but it's cool regardless!
Mechanically it feels very responsive and nice to play, despite some bugs.
I'm a big fan of stealth games so I had to try this! I do wish there was some little stealthy musical theme, but the sound effects all felt correct in the setting, and I really like the choice of using 3D models in a 2D settings like this (and it was probably some extra work!). Gameplay was fun, and I was glad the challenge ramped up once you got a handle of the basic mechanics in the first three levels. I did have a small bug where the target reticule wouldn't follow characters sometimes (I think had something to do with them going in the same door as another NPC), but it would fix after they left and reentered a different room. I enjoyed this a lot! Good job!
Another hotel themed game :D
The gameplay is fun and covers the theme from an interesting perspective. I encountered a bug where the player would get softlocked to doors. Also some music would have made the game more engaging.
Really cool idea! Love the 2.5D style :)
