How does your game fit the theme?
The main objective is learning how to open a mysterious door presented at the beginning.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Only the 2D sprites, textures, and the simpler 3D models.

Wow the graphic style for this game is impecable. I love the color palette. I was difficult at first to understand the game, but this was a great experience. I love IT! :)
Nice game and looks very well made.. the graphics are crazy good, and requires a lot of remembering stuff..
sometimes when opening the cards it wouldn't deactivate it, so i could keep on pressing and loading the cards
hope you can give me feedback on my game also.
The more active elements is a great idea... it could also help with the learning I think. And yeah, the notes were what I could do during the jam, but I agree with you that a more elegant system should exist. Maybe the player character would "take notes" after seeing a rune in usage, or something like that? Well, I'll keep thinking about it.
Thanks for playing and taking some time to leave your feedback!
Really interesting concept, and a really nice visual style. I'll admit that I only slightly brute force the solution.
Very good concept at work here. It was a fun try
This was a real looker and sound was spot on. Nothing to point in the criticism-department. My brain hurts and that took away some of the fun for me. I loved Of Rats And Humans. You also earned yourself a follow.
Hey, thank you! Glad you enjoyed both games! More games are on the way, as well as updates to some older ones 🙂
Also, happy to know you thought the sound was spot on. Sound design is something I've been trying to improve lately!
Very cool visual style! Interesting idea! But the rules for opening the doors were not clearly communicated to me. I looked at these doors like “The Ram at the New Gate.”
I though I get the tricks with the symbol but as I return as the first room, I need to focus more on the clues that are here and here. I was hook by the style of the game: 3D retro game! It's perfect and I enjoyed playing it in full screen. Congrats!
amazing game! gets the brain juices flowing! or at least whatever was left from trying to release these game for the jam! good job on the jam submission!
I feel so dumb trying to play this, but I managed to get through a few doors. It is a very pretty art style.
Wonderfully enjoyable puzzle game with a very nice game flow! The guide notes could be more obvious where they are since I ended up missing them a couple times, maybe drape them over the middle sign but the icon designs were really smart too since it actually represents what they do like, mirroring or rotating!
Hi, glad you enjoyed!
That is actually a really good idea. Would help less people get confused while palying the game, which would be a pretty good improvement. Thanks for playing and taking some time to point this out! Glad you liked the icon designs too 🙂
This is hands down the best game I've played this jam, the visuals are stunning, the atmosphere feels very good and it's just such a polished puzzle game
The idea of having this weird language to flip and twist this sprite is so nice, and it plays so well with the doors of having to pick one
Hearts definitely added a bit of risk but allowed me to actually understand the game with trial and error
The only bug I found is the pages stacking up when you spam click them, but it's just a matter of closing everything you opened afterwards
And in general it would benefit maybe making a tutorial
See you ending up in top 5
I could swear I fixed that problem with the notes stacking up, damn 😑
Well, it won't be difficult to fix in the future. Thanks for playing and taking the time to leave your feedback, I really appreciate it! Reaching the top 5 would definitely be very, very awesome, but there are so many great games in the jam I would rather not get my hopes up hahaha still, dreaming won't hurt, right?
This looks so good! Struggled a bit by wraping my head around all the changes but its really good! well done
The visual are crazy. At first is a little bit hard to get, but graphics encourage you to go on.
This is probably one of the top contenders to win this game. Absolutely stunning visuals and athmosphere
I like how your game looks, it was a bit hard to understand foor me.
Great atmosphere but i couldn't understand some things
I'm a huge fan of The Witness and Obra Dinn so when I read the description I had to play it! I loved the style and atmosphere and how the game teaches you the "rules" of each run with minimal instructions like The Witness does. Two things were really unfortunate though:
Overall though I really enjoyed playing this and I would definitely love to see an expanded version that introduces more runes or other puzzles. Amazing job!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I think the way The Witness teaches you how to play is really elegant, so I tried to do something similar. Sadly, a bunch of people thought the game is confusing... well, that's the price I pay, I suppose 😅 Still, I'm happy with how it turned out, and a bunch of people also seemed to have fun with it, so it might've been worth it!
Related to the problems you found:
My bad here 🤦♂️ I looked at the puzzle a bunch of times and still thought the middle one was the right one. Maybe the rules ARE confusing after all! Haha, no, I'm just joking.
Thanks for taking the time not only to play the game, but also to report those problems with such detail. It helped tons. I'm really thankful for that!
Yeah The Witness style of game isn't everyone's cup of tea but it's definitely mine! You did an awesome job capturing the feel of it :)
It's hard and funny. I liked.
Extremely hard to understand at first, but as soon as you got it, pretty nice.
