How does your game fit the theme?
You are a weapon designed to kill an alien base called " The Hive". In your journey, you dive deeper and deeper into the cave of Aliens
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Art is made by me. I wrote most of the code except transitions.

The aliens are challenging and hard to defeat but they are fine since you can dodge their attacks. Except for those worm-like aliens, I hate them. They could phase into walls where you literally cannot damage them at all, and when they attack, they do so at ridiculous speeds, which is very frustrating to play against.
Fun, fast-paced, smooth game.
Great job! Very cool and atmospheric game)
Nice game, but the lights are a bit broken
now i will be terminated, very good game

This game needs to be rated by more people! Very fun controls. Looks beautiful. I LOVED the intro with the other dead characters that look like you. The only complaints I have were bug/design related.
The game gets pretty hard but ammo and health is hard to come by. When dying, ammo and health is not replenished but enemies are reset. Which if this was a rogue like, would be fun, but I think you want your average player to experience the story.
I also had an issue with the bullets in the (assault rifle?) Sometime, I think when there were a lot of moving parts, the bullet would be stuck to the tip of the gun and not shoot out. I think this is a frame rate issue but I'm not sure. Also eventually my ammo froze and I was no longer able to shoot. Unfortunately I had to stop after.
Lastly, in the beginning, how ammo worked was confusing. Usually the number on top and bottom are handled like call of duty. Your way is more realistic but since it's not the standard, I would find a way to visualize bullet count better.
Excellent entry, just a few kinks here and there. Best of luck!
Thank you for playing my game. I had to make this game about 3-4 days.
At first, I designed my game to be rouge-like, but due to time I had to cut out the map generation and manually made the maps.
When I tested the game I didn't have the issue where you couldn't shoot. I have to investigate it further. Maybe as you said, it can be a frame rate issue.
Again, thank you for playing my game and giving valuable feedback.
Graphics look good, I like the story, and the interpterion of the theme. The game started out pretty fun, though I started to lose interest after not much was changing from level to level. To fix this, you could have different environmental hazards, or have bits of story you get in between levels to keep players interested. I also noticed when you died, it did not reset your ammo, which I think is not intentional. Other than those two things, it is a pretty good entry!
Thank you for playing my game. Due to time reasons, I had only 1 make a map tileset, and didn't have time add add polish. As for the ammo not resetting, I make the player restart the level with the same health and ammo as they entered the level. So I guess it was a bad design. Again thank you for playing and giving valuable feedback.
The time constraint issue makes a lot of sense, and I can relate to that. I would double check that you start with the same amount of ammo and hp, since I wad starting levels after dying with just above 0 hp and as much ammo as I had when I died. You might have made it so you start with the same amount of medkits and clip ammo rather than hp and mags.
Awesome game! Very fun to play, and trying to dash away from the bullets takes some skill! Though I have one problem, and it's that the "fish" enemies that dash through you don't give a clear indicator as to when they're going to strike, so trying to dodge them is practically guessing.
Also, my pistol somehow got 100 clip ammo, and it stayed that way, im unsure if that's intentional, but even if it isn't it didn't affect my experience much, the game was very fun regardless
Also also, I would love it if it had less subtle background music, It just seems like it would be more fitting to the amount of action happening in the game
Thank you for playing my game. The "Fish" enemy has a delay between attaching to you and attacking you, I was going to add a marker that indicates the attack, but due to time reasons, I couldn't do it. The music choice was rushed as well though I wanted the music to be epic and with action. But again due to time reasons, I didn't have time to polish the game. Thank you for playing and giving valuable feedback.
That makes sense, I had to cut a lot of things due to time restrictions too lol, great job nonetheless!
The game is very fun, and looks very good, also pretty polished
Thank you for playing my game.
