One of the few game's I've seen that's taken two simultaneous approaches to the theme. Well done!
I wish there was a bit more to do mechanically, however. But given that this was made in a week, it's still impressive how much is already here.

How does your game fit the theme?
The main character is diving deeper into the ocean and into the case of an abandoned secret lab.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes (except the font)

Cool game! I wanted to explore further and do more things tho, maybe see some more mechanics too! Can't wait to see the next version after the jam :)
I also liked how you blended the lights with the assets!
Could you try our game too? It's a 2d platformer, and it was our second game jam and one of our first games so far!
Your feedback would be really appreciated! :)
Cool concept! I would've changed those health potion looking things to now blow up and deal massive damage. Hope you continue to build this game!
Art was trully amazing. The story was gripping. The red potion tricked me in the first place :) Nothing bad to say. Good job!
fun and simple game! thought the red potion thing was for health but had to learn the lesson twice to actually remember
The art is amazing, but somethings were not intuitive at first, I though the red potion was health 😢 then I thought maybe its a 50/50 chance 😭
but overall, the game was fun, and somethings from the story could actually happen in real life 😖we don't know what we could unleash if the glaciers melt
Graphics and pixel art is really good, and, the concept is pretty cool! one thing i would change is making the changing the red potion sprite into a bomb or something; it got me a bit thrown off the first time since i though it was a health potion. But other than that, this a pretty good submission. Well done!
nice little game i like the graphic ,the mechanics, Story and especially the music and the SFX ..Good Job
Nice that all pixel graphics are yours, I wish the lights were pixelated too :) But otherwise neat little game
Incredible that it was all made from scratch minus fonts :D! I love the storytelling and especially little notes you can pick up. The environment is very cool, love the music, the SFX, the colour palette. I think if you adjusted the UI a bit so that the text doesn't keep flowing upwards, made the chemical vials look less like HP potions, and adjusted the sensitivity of the colliders for the spikes, it would really tie the whole thing together. It was difficult - but it was good! :D
This is actually really cool! The foreground elements were a nice touch. I do feel like pixellated lighting might look a little better but that's just me. The main menu is actually very relaxing too. Excellent entry!
Very fun game and the first one of the jam that I was able to "finish". Honestly was kinda confused why health potions would kill me but then I discovered the green ones were the positive ones. Oddly enough game wise Red potions are usually for HP and green is usually poison. opposite of usual safe and danger colors. Only criticism is I felt the typewriter text was far too slow to read everything in time before I reached the exit door or next note. Other than that: super solid!
The door in this screenshot didn't work for me so I stopped there. Not sure exactly why it wasn't working...
Aside from that great game! I was intrigued by the story. The art and sound were both great, and the character controller didn't detract from the experience so great job! :)
Really nice! Maybe it's short and simple, but it seems very solid. Nice gameplay, sounds, and music. And it even has a story that we can all relate to! Cool game!
