How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about reaching the bottom of the ocean.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

The game idea look really nice and fits great for the theme. Guess we had similar ideas^^
Still wonder "what's at the bottom". Because like others said before, it's unfortunately pretty difficult.
I played now for a while, but still not able to even solve the first obstacle :-D
Guess with a little flatter learning curve for the controls it could be a nice one. At least the idea of the weight belt sounds pretty innovative.
I have the same difficulty complaints others have made, so I'd rather point out how nice the weight dropping system is. I could see you adding more depth to that mechanic alone, allowing the player to pick up and drop weights as a core mechanic.
It is too bad the sound didn't export, I'd have liked to hear it.
The art style used here is also very nice!
The game was cropped on my screen I think, the new dive button and 'you completed the game' text was only half visible. I really liked the difficulty and the way you have to explore. The art looks really good. Great submission!
I think your game design is sort of similar to my game, haha
Loved your graphics and the weight mechanism, however it was a bit hard to navigate and I died few times :') but you've done great job
This looks really fun and I love the concept, but I could not get the controls to work. Seems like there's a big learning curve, and an easier tutorial section would help get the player used to the controls.
Really interesting mechanic, I can get the feel of fear of being underwater (maybe cuz if I die I lose all the items and start over 😅). Took me a while to get to the controllers and grab the first bottle, my record was around 17m so I found the game too difficult in my opinion. The art is nice and would feel a lot more complete if it had sounds too. A restart button would be nice too so the player doesn't have to wait to die once they know they made a mistake and gonna lose the round.
Thanks for the review! Glad we manage to give a bit of fear of the depths :D We made some sounds but sadly they don't work in the export, too bad...
There is a steep learning curve the first few dives, but the game become really easy after grabbing your first three items. Agree for the need of a restart button.
Visually, the game is very good. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the controls work consistently enough for me to make it very far.
To make restarting more accessible, please consider making the buttons an overlay like the help screen so that they can be clicked from anywhere. By default, when I open the game, the New Dive and restart buttons are cut off.
When you get the chance, please try out my own game and let me know what you thought of it. Thanks!
The game is okay, it art is cool and it created a nice atmosphere. The game lags a bit in browser, that's the only problem.
If you have time, please take a look at my game, thanks.
