Really atmospheric horror game! Although I was a little bit confused, I still did enjoy playing it.

The graphics, concept and gameplay are amazing, but the game is so long that it robbed a lot from the experience, making it artificially harder because of the limited resources.

I love the FNAF vibes of the sit and survive gameplay and the art style used for everything, I see a lot of potential here

Good: I like the game's UI design, sound, and graphics  they create a great horror atmosphere. The limited use of two systems adds the right amount of challenge to keep playing.

Con: The beginning is confusing, the tutorial could be simpler, as there was too much information for me.

One of the coolest projects here, could even be a paid game. Keep up the awesome work :D

I did not understand what to do, like at all. I didnt know what the goal / my objective of the game was. I was confused by the Buttons and the tutorial had way too much text so I kinda just read over it and didn't remember anything as a result. Only after reading the comments here on the review page, I knew what to do.

That being said, the vibe the interior is giving of is amazing. There are quite a few games in this Jam, that also feature some sort of underwater vehicle interior but game I think did it the best.

The User Interface look very professional, and is very fitting to the game.

Sound effects are nicely done, and give a very nice ambience.

I'd love to see you guys continuing working on the game, and implement a better tutorial. This game has potential that should not be wasted.

To an extent, the hard to digest tutorial was an intentional decision. We wanted to create the feeling of being dropped into this escape situation without prior training. However, even though that was our intention, many people have voiced this complaint and it's something we need to rework.

Thank you for the kind words, our art team and our audio engineer worked really hard crafting the feel of the game. After the jam we're definitely planning on coming back and making some gameplay changes to make it more palatable.

Cool design! It was challanging and the atmospehre is really nice, I almost felt like I was in there! Graphics and audi give it a nice creepy vibe

Really like it, it forces you to choose to play safe or trust that you remember where all things are. Visually and audio wise is pretty impressive.

Thank you very much Lugia. <3

I really like the UI, crisp and easy to understand, Game controls were the same. I also felt like the outside light didn't do much to the creature. I did enjoy the challenge of only keeping two systems on, made it harder to get to the bottom. Maybe adding a red zed zone to the O2 generator which causes a leak or explosion would be a little more task oriented since I just left it running while descending into the dark. Overall pretty solid Game. Maybe in the future you can add to it and do a mystery game about what has happened inside the underwater base? First challenge is getting to the base while the second half is finding out what happened to it. Love to work, hope to see more.

I think the atmosphere was cool! However, making the ship move and having to maneuver around in the dark was really frustrating. I like the idea of having x amount of systems being operational at the same time, but it became very hard to play the game when I had to constantly fuddle around inside the ship. Overall pretty good though!

Developer

Great suggestion. The maximum number of systems is a setting in the backend. In the future we could easily add difficulty modes that changed the number of systems you could use so people can choose how they want to play. We had made the decision to drop to 2 systems instead of 3 max because we found that the overloading mechanic never really got a chance to put pressure on the player.

Thank you for playing and for the kind words. :D

Really like the atmosphere, and it fits the theme well, I didn't feel like the exterior lights really had any affect on the monster at all, I turned them and off constantly and the ship was still getting attacked.

Developer

Definitely an oversight on our part. We're thinking that it'll probably be better to make the monster squint as it's "health" goes down.

Very cool game! I think that the graphics were really good and the gameplay was very simple but interesting. I think it would be cool if the oxygen tank could explode if you pumped it with too much oxygen. Overall thought it was great!

Developer(+1)

That would be cool, maybe give a certain "danger zone" at the top of the meter and if you pass it the tank will explode.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. <3
