I really enjoyed the katana aspect of this downwell variant. I would add that I got stuck from time to time on the sliceable blocks and I really wanted to jump with the space key :)

Very well done take on Downwell, not much to say other than it would have been cool to see some progression or upgrades to play with on successive trips down. Plenty of room for additional content down the line, this is a very good base to work from.

I absolutely love the visuals! The artstyle is awesome and the color palette is simple but effective! Had a lot of fun with this one, just wish it was longer.

I like the retro-style sound and graphics, and I like how using the sword has a lot of impact to it! I also like the change of pace from the standard underwater diving to cavern diving. Makes yours stand out more!

i like downwell and being the weeb that i am adding katanas to it is just awesome.

The minimalistic style definitely works great, and the gameplay feels very punchy. Nice and simple, but you can definitely get a lot out of it, and the sound works with it. Great game! 

Really smooth and polished and the art style is amazing. (I know Downwell and never personally played it, but seeing the Theme i was immediatly thinking of Downwell aswell)

Very fun and great graphics! My one problem is that I did run into a few softlocks, such as the restart button not working and being stuck in a constant state of slashing. But apart from that, a very good job!

Very fun and fast game, ideal for a game jam! I like the ‘dive straight into the game’ approach at the menu.
