Nice models and textures, controls felt good, over all pretty fun!

The ending was hilarious, haha! The spacecraft felt nice to control and was easy to pick up. Would have loved to hear some background music to add to the feel and intensity of rescuing your friend while dodging multiple asteroids. Also, like the option you provided for KBM players.

Developer

Thanks you for your feedback, glad you liked our game !

Yeah we should've added some music, it would've been good

My guy Adrian :(
Very cool game!! I managed to save my friend after realizing hugging the corners wasn't easier than just flying around the obstacles. Fun game with cool assets and textures! Thank you for your hard efforts!

Developer

Ahahah we made sure peoples would avoid hugging the walls !

Glad you liked the graphics, thank you for your comment !

Great game! I played this with a controller and it was truly so satisfying to handle the space ship's movement - well done! I think the story of the game was perfect too, the ending had me laugh. I loved the graphics settings toggle you made, that is a really cool and thoughtful touch, only thing I would suggest is adding some cool up-beat retro electronic music - I think it would add more immersion. Great job!

Glad you enjoyed it !

Music is really lacking, i couldn't agree with you more
I thought about adding odd retro eurobeat music for fun but that was a weird experience haha

Good game, the core gameplay is fun, but nearing the end i find it gets near impossible to get through. the art and effects are also really nice.

Developer

Yeah we should've definitely fine tuned a bit more the spawning of obstacles to avoid impossible moments

Thank you for the feedback !

Awesome game! I love the graphics, gameplay and story! The end part is pretty hard though. Well for me that is. I'm just bad. Great work!

Impressive visuals for a game made in a week! The gameplay was fun and the story was great, amazing job!

Submitted(+3)

The visuals are pretty damn good, I love those indicators when you're near an obstacle or an edge. The crewmate casually ragdolling out pretty hilarious

Art style is very nice, particularly liked the glowing edge and engine thrust effects. Well done for completing a 3D game in the timeframe.

Controls felt tight and responsive, making the ship feel satisfying to control. I liked the difficulty level and that life had to be preserved to take hits nearer the end.

The backstory of saving poor Brian was a nice humorous touch too.

For improvements, the volume level could do with being boosted. Also, perhaps add some epic music for an epic quest?

Overall, cool submission. Great job!

ADRIANNN!!! The ending did give me a good laugh.

My favorite is the controls. They are very responsive, and it really feels good navigating the spaceship around.

Some suggestion:

Maybe it's best to set QWERTY layout as the default as most people uses it? Was a bit confused when I'm greeted with the QZSD.

Framerate is very laggy on Chrome, you should suggest player to try out other browsers in the description (I tried Brave and it works smoothly)

Some music or sound effect would be great. Also some particle effect when hitting the obstacles would improve the game feel a lot.

Overall, good game and I had fun with it.

Developer(+1)

Haha, glad you enjoyed it !
Thanks for the suggestions !

You are right QWERTY should have been the default one

We will update the description (if possible?) to inform of browser performance, thanks !

For the sound, it's a tricky one for us, there is sound (ship motor, rock hitting), but they were reported too quiet ! Sad times ! As for the music we intented to make one at some point but time catched up and we were not focus on that, maybe we should have downloaded some haha.

Such a cool little game, loved the effects of the grid and the movement of the ship! In the end it got very difficult to avoid the obstacles, but I didn't really mind as long as I survived lol, which I luckily did! But Adrian...

Thanks for playing and commenting !

At least we recovered Brian...

This was a very fun and charming game.

The graphics are so good! Feels super nice, and love the grid effect. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot !

I specially liked the ship's movement and how the limits of the level are displayed. I found it a bit easy though.

F*ck Adrian btw.

Developer(+1)

It was not easy to balance this game ! (and it still is not easy) !
Thanks for playing !

Yes, Adrian... let's not talk about him

The gameplay is generally nice but once towards the end of the level it may be that we are OBLIGED to take obstacles because they form a kind of "wall".

Graphically the game is beautiful.

The major problem is the sound which is MUCH too low.

Developer(+1)

I agree with you, towards the end, is kind of chaotic, we tried to lower that "wall" effect not to long before deadline, but it seems it was not enough.
We were confident enough about the sound, that's the first time we implemented that much sounds, we (indeed) might have not balanced it well !
