Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used some assets for enviroment models and player movement, everything else I made for this jam. There are upgrades, NPC, achievements, secrets, puzzles and more.

This was a pretty interesting experience! I liked the underwater city, and the idea of swimming through the ruins of the city. I do kind of wish there were more objectives that required me to swim underwater though, as I only made it to the church. I managed to get two achievements and then got stuck it the bell tower, but from reading below it looks like that's a known bug. I agree with some of the other comments that subtitles would have been nice, but I think I was able to understand everything. Cool start to a game though! If there was one thing I think it could use it would be a checkpoint or save system.

Hi Jordan, awesome video! Makes me soooo happy watching you play Under After and enjoying... at least some parts. There is just few things you missed, finding air upgrades under green baloons (right bellow balloons, on some depth or bottom), and after obtaining the key, behind chatedral is fall to deepest spot, final door and end of game. Falling into bell tower was something I wanted to fix in last minute, but could not make it. Beside it, there was some "funny" bilboards and few music posters  that you missed bellow and that is mostly everything I managed to put in. Thank you so much!

Some of the voice acting could have used subtitles, and like a previous commenter, I too got stuck in the bell tower after getting an achievement. Was there an actual way out?

Hi! Thanks for trying my game. If you fall into bell tower, no way out. Few things I did not manage to change before deadline, bell collider preventing that  fall was one.  but there is way to end game, if you found key inside chatedral, you can go behind chatedral.  Not too far behind, there is place to dive deeper, much more enemies, and final wayout.

The amount of hard work you put into the game is so impressive! It reminded me of the movie 'waterworld'. Any hint or guidance towards the objective would have been really helpful. Otherwise, I liked every aspect of this game. Great work!!

This premise of a flooded world is a great fit for the theme. Really impressive that you created such a huge world and also polished the charater animations pretty well in that short time.

Only problem was, that it actually nearly was "too big". Just saw in your description, there are "secrets, puzzles and more". I only found exactly 1 achievement so far and this NPC seems to want to tell me something, but i don't get it :-D

Maybe a little guide or so would have been extremely helpful for gameplay.

But nevertheless, that would be probably hard to also add within on week, so all in all a very impressive entry. Great job, hope you'll continue on it, it definitely has potential.

Hit the Theme, audio and Visuals are super on point. I like the Concept. Just a nice mix of everything! Thanks for putting that out there and its insane to see what people can do in a week. You can be really proud of yourself!

It shutdowns sometimes. I couldn't play much. It looks like a big game for a jam. Character controller and camera movement was nice. Good job!

This is an impressively large game for a week long jam, I have no idea how you made a small open world in such a short time!

The only thing is that I wish there was some kind of mission tab, some of the instructions were a bit unclear, and having a summary to read at a moments notice would have been incredibly useful.

Also, I couldn't get particularly far since I feel into the cathedral's tower and there doesn't seem to be a way out.

Really nice character controller for swimming. Given that you had a little intro that included the controls I think your game would have benefited greatly by describing/outlining the goals for the player in that section.

took some time to load but the graphics looks a bit hard to learn what to do but its pretty fun to just explore the city! Great Job!

Interesting game, but not very intuitive on what to do. Chasing a ball across the city when he randomly jumps somewhere else just to hear what you should be doing felt a bit annoying, I'd rather just have that information up front, or have the locations actually mean something.

The city itself looks pretty nice! Though there are some pop-in issues for smaller objects.

I collected a bunch of barrels for air, found the key in the cathedral, then rang the bell. Then I jumped in the hole beneath the bell but that just got me stuck lol.

So yeah, could use some more polish and guidance, but still a good job!

The effort  to create a 3d world for a jam is crazy. The chipmunk voice is funny and obviously for a metalhead like me Iron Maiden and Metallica  carry the game.

Interesting game, i kept drowning, and could not find the key? (i think i was meant to look for a key) but the underwater city looked quite cool.

You can upgrade oxygen capasity by finding green barrels beneth floating green balls, so you can stay longer, also, find deepest place behind chatedral

I didn't really understand the concept or gameplay, I was just chasing some type of ball from building to building and afterwards I didn't know what to do. It's unlucky because I can see you spent a lot of time on this game. The water visuals are great and I liked the funny voice.

Hi and thanks for playing! I tried to put guiding visuals like floathing baloons - bellow them are air supply enchanser, and church top in distance, and ball you have followed will each time give player a useful tip, final tip is what you need to do to beat the game. Also, there are minimap, and only visible things are object you have to interact with. But I know, much of this is not obvious and need extra explaining, but I did not have time. I will update game description page. Thanks a lot!
