Loved the art of the game, that alongside with the screen transitions and HUD made it feel like a true arcade classic. On a negative side, there is a lot of lag when the bullets collide with the bosses. The sound and music were top notch. Nice game, and good luck on the jam!

Game seems to slow down massively when bullets damages boss. Otherwise great visuals and starting guidelines!

You're off to a fantastic start! I just wanted to share a few suggestions to make it even better. Consider adding a slight delay for the next projectile to shoot during instantiation, and for the explosion, make it occur at the position of the destroyed ship. Adding more variations to the boss attacks could also bring some extra excitement. That's all! Overall, you're doing a great job!

Not may people developing outside the main engines good job man. I bet you learnt a lot in this jam alone, the shooting mechanics might be a bit overtuned in some areas which takes away from the difficulty but enjoyed it nonetheless.
