I was enjoying this - took out the rat and the prospector, but then fell off the map searching for the train station and that was that. The art is really great, as is the setting. Can you die? I seemed to get hit a lot during the prospector fight..!
Cool game! I like the Western aesthetic and hub world to explore. The boss battles were decent. I couldn't find the train station & ended up fall out of the map. Death appears to be glitched & I adding barriers to areas you shouldn't go.

T got a job from Boone, took care of that little rat problem of his. Walked to where I thought the cave was past the Teepee; turns out it was the oooold abyss. I could still walk around of course, walked near to the other side of the map, but caught up in that abyss I was. Felt good to help Boone though, and that rat sure won't be botherin' no one now. Yeehaw!
I really enjoyed playing your game, i was little confused at the start but I eventually was able to find out where to go. The bosses are really creative, and I especially like the boss you fight on the train; I liked having to manage how the train was effecting me while also trying to manage the bosses attacks. I died at the train boss, but I didn't see any death screen so I don't know if that was intended. Some music and sound effects would have added a nice touch. Overall, this is a cool entry and I hope you find my and others feedback useful for this and future projects.
after 2nd review I gave 3/5 best of luck!
we lost the majority of our jam ratings if you have a chance to re-save and or re-rate I am making sure to re-rate and review your game a 2nd/3rd time and make sure I gave yours a solid review and or rating! Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience if you read this in time!
Team Dreamysteria!
Cool game! I don't know if my it's just my web page but the lack of sound effects or music kinda tones the game down. Also, I know a bunch of people already said that, but you can't die. I didn't really get where you used the theme, but hey! Still cool game and cool art!
I had fun :3, i liked the story of having to talk to this dude to know where you need to go next, the movement is fun and the bosses were very unique and each one felt different! Some issues i found though is that I wasnt able to die? After reaching zero health the game didn't end and I was still able to play on, and another thing is that the bosses have an incredible amount of health, fighting a boss felt like it dragged on longer than it should have
Other than that, nice work! <3
This was fun and I enjoyed the progression of difficulty in the bosses. There were some strange issues I ran into though — you can't seem to die from running out of HP (at least I interpret the rounds in the cylinder indicating your HP), and the dialogue from the guy in the shop seems to repeat. Having some sound effects could have really helped too, though again, I did enjoy playing through it. Well done!
Fun game! I like that theres a story aspect to it, and the bosses were actually really unique! Not sure where the exchanging part is, you said that you can exchange life for power ups, but i never got the opportunity to, not sure if was missing something there, and some sound effects wouldve really helped as well. the game feels a bit unfinished, but what is there is actually super cool! i love all the ideas for the bosses (although they might have too much health, it takes a VERY long time to kill them) and the story elements are really nice!
