I had a hard time with the boss, specifically with the roar/sound wave attack; I felt some of those were undodgeable, even if I kept my distance.

The fight was fun, and I liked the upgrades, but I would always die at around 60% of the boss's health due to getting hit by sound waves.

I feel like I am missing something. Is there a dash, or a way to regain health? I'll play again later; the dino design is really cool, and I would love to see what's after it!

Thanks for the feedback, Croy!

The waves get destroyed when colliding with the rocks, so it's a good idea to stay close to them.

There's no dash. But when the boss reaches a certain HP, it drops three eggs. If they hatch, they heal the boss. If you destroy them, they heal you.

Hope that helps! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

I saw some waves dissapear, and thought it was random. Not figuring out you can hide behind the rocks is on me, it makes so much sense, haha. I also like how you and the boss share the same healing source.

It's interesting, because at first, I thought the boss had too much health, but now that I lasted longer and got more upgrades, it exponentially becomes easier and felt more balanced.

If you keep working on this project, I'd love to see other bosses and more variety with upgrades.

Thanks for the experience =]

Completed the game, the gameplay loop was very coherent and the controls were tight, I liked the alien-dinosaur design and how it got more patterns while the health kept dropping down, the upgrades helped speed up the way of getting it's HP down as I had no idea those sacks healed it, haha.. My only two criticism is that some of the sound mixing when getting hit and the rumbling sound which I assume is coming from the boss are a bit loud and muddy the funky soundtrack in the background, And that I wish there was more, but I understand if there wasn't time to make another one in time.  All in all, you did a great job, you understood the task and delivered a short, but fun experience :)

Thank you so much for your feedback, MagnaRemora! We'll definitely pay more attention to the sounds next time!

Pretty fun entry ! Really like the monster designs !
I would have loved it if the bosses moved a bit more, and if the challenge went more from the boss and less from the pretty spammy ennemies !

Haha, we're happy to know you liked the monsters. And I agree with you about the boss. Certain things looked better in our imagination as we were planning them. Thanks for the feedback!
