Good retro style game! I like it! Balance is not very best, but solid. First boss is not very hard, but bulky and annoying. The second boss is the easiest one (I got his ability for second try). And the last boss is obviously The hardest. Sounds and music is good! Intro is cute. The theme used is quite traditional way. The controls are clear and there are no questions asked after you master the dash.
And overall I like it.
Nice little game, the art is quite charming but there are some little problems with the boss mechanics.
The main one is the second boss, it's good that it teaches players how to dash, but besides that it is really easy and the rocket is a joke, because you always destroy it right after he launches it. When I picked the rocket after the boss it was as weak as in the actual bossfight but now it sometimes were bugging out and phased through the monke.
But besides that - really nice game!
Really great character animations and a nice set of boss designs! One thing I would really appreciate is a cooldown counter for the right-click ability. But overall, great work!

Cool game! Very cohesive and tight package. I appreciated the balance of the game, still had me engaged but it wasn't brutally challenging like a lot of games I have played this jam. Audio levels could use some polish, also would have loved some VFX when my bullets hit the enemy but overall really good game! Thanks for making this.
Short but fun, I liked the how the spare/destroy mechanic worked.

I really like the aesthetic of the game, the art is amazing. The movement is great, the character moves just the way you want it too, and the feedbakc is satisfying when attacking. It's cool that the last boss uses the abilities of the other bosses as the Head Honcho, and the exchange mechanic is simple and well implemented, their life for an upgrade! Really fun game overall.
If I could add something, it would be some way to check the CD of your dash/ability, I just used my dash/abilityhoping I had them. Other than that, nice game!

Nice short game! The art style's neat! Though, more bosses or mechanics would be great. Also, the rockets sometimes pass through the third boss lol I think there's a problem with the hitbox.
Thanks for playing! The rockets passing through the boss is a result of the hitbox being disabled for invincibility frames. I will look into a solution for this.

Thanks for playing! I probably dialed the Final boss's difficulty up a bit too much. You have to strategically dash and quickly destroy any minions for that battle. Even then I still struggled with the final boss during play testing.
