The gameplay was highly engaging, with great voice acting and cool boss design. However, I encountered some issues with the camera, particularly during the Duarteuse encounter, where it gets obstructed by the walls when I move to the side. Despite this, the fight itself is enjoyable, and the attack delays feel balanced. Great job!

I liked this game, the voice acting was great and the boss was good, I could see time was not on your side with the second boss but this game was great, I loved so much about it
the animations were quite good. I like it a lot. the game feel was also nice. the movement was a little soapy. the boss attacks were kinda a cool and what made them even cooler was the animations and effects. Voice acting in a game jam is kinda rare but this game had it . Overall Great Work
Thanks so much! Unfortunately, only the first boss was completed in time (and even then still required some tweaking), and we had voice lines recorded for the whole way through but 1 month is just not enough time!! Bit off more than we could chew for this one I think haha. We will be patching the game over the next month or so to get it to what we envisioned, so be sure to check back later when the character and bosses have a lot more depth, and the story goes past the first boss!
I found a way to cheese the fights:
1 - I walk close to boss
2 - wait for its telegraphed attack,
3 - I dodge the attack and end up on its back
4 - I hit it
5 - Do it on loop until boss is dead
I would love to change weapons with my mouse's scroll wheel
I dont get the pallace/hall of pillars scene after I win a fight.
Besides that, it's an overall well done game.
Incredibly impressive character animations, and the fact that you have voice acting in a jam game is next level. I would recommend trying to tighten up the feel of the character's movement and attacks, at the moment they are a bit sluggish. But overall, incredibly ambitious work!
Loved the story an voice acting, that was fun. Dodge felt nice, some responsiveness issues, wished I could roll sooner after attack, made me have to play super defensive which got repetitive. Nice work though!
good design of bosses and locations. But since the bosses only have one attack, the gameplay suffers despite the good movement.There are not enough sounds
Like the setting and some bosses designs, good voice acting and responsive controls. Gameplay feels hella repetative and bosses actually becoming more easy as they go, lack off music on fights feels a little dissapointing...
But non the less, great jod guys!
Thanks so much for the feedback :) We ran out of time sadly so only got to polish up one of the bosses! Also with the music we had our first musician cancel on us and our second got hospitalized the poor thing so a series of unfortunate events sadly but we plan on patching with all the not added content and variances for the bosses!
The game looks very cool and has lots of interesting designs. Nice mocap animations. However the combat gets old a little too fast, very basic. But nice work, would love to see a version of this with more interesting mechanics and a bit more depth to the combat, it has a lot of potential.
Nice visuals, I miss some more responsive controls, something like cancel attack animation do dodge, and visual feedback when player take hit
The art was fantastic and the animations were good too. I just wished that there were more mechanics besides roll click roll click repeat. Maddox and his vengeful version were the only ones that game me any trouble and I had to use the bow a lot for him. The rest I just used spear. You definitely had an impressive amount of bosses. The most I've seen so far. Overall, well done. I enjoyed the game!
Pretty good game, voice acting is a nice feature. I had some bugs during the first fight.
