The game is abit to hard in my opinion but really fun. And the universe is very cute.

Its very very smooth the musique is good and the game plays pretty nicely.
I just felt like the boss was a bit unfair though. You need more telegraph on your attacks.
The humours was great
GG
The art is appealing and the animations are smooth, the controls are satisfying. Also, I like how you were able to incorporate "lore" into your game. I did find a bug when fighting against the rat boss (I was standing in the corner and they did the steam attack which pushed me outside the map). Good job though!
The pigeon is very cute and the game is pretty fun uwu, nice job - Snow from LTP
I liked the humour in this game, the gameplay is easy to grasp but maybe a little hard to remember during the boss fight as the bosses are quite fast! Overall a very good entry, good job!
Good work on this game!! The art is nice and funny. The controller is really smooth. I had quite a struggle to get used to it, at first I mainly used the dash to get through the first boss, which was quite inefficient . But the gameplay is more of an aerial dodging style which was really well used in the second boss :) Maybe a bit too difficult, I'd remove the collision damage on the Rat Boss when he's not attacking to make it more accessible. But the challenge was pretty good as is ! I'm looking forward to meeting the third boss.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed our game! I think it's a great idea to work towards making the game more accessible. Our plans for this game include a keybindings page and tweaking the boss hitboxes to make them more forgiving. I hope you will tune in for the third (and final?) boss once we update after the jam is over :)
I loved the last boss pattern , can't wait to have an update of this game !
The introduction was really funny aswell , gg !
Come on! WHERE ARE THE BABIES? Let me guess... the last boss was suppose to be the "information guy" of the beginning?
Very nice game! I liked pretty much everything about it. Except the fact that... I couldn't find the BABIES!
Congratulations, well done!
the concept is cool and especially very funny I liked the use of the theme. the art is nice and the animations work well, big gg!
they took my freaking babies and I really wanted to get them back. i love the art and general aesthetic, especially the player walk cycle, overall a funny entertaining game!
This looks quite polished, but I didn't come to grips with the controls or how to beat the first boss unfortunately...
We have a third and final boss in the works, but unfortunately mama owl did not make it into the jam. We did design the bosses to require a few attempts to learn and defeat. We believe that is a hallmark of a fun boss. If you have any feedback on how we can improve our design, we are open to hearing it!
That was, uique. Fun concept and really liked how you put the controls as graffiti. Was not a fan of the sfx. They also didn't get mixed properly. The Rat boss, cool concept but I really didn't appreciate that even getting to close dealt damage to me. Smooth controls though, nicely done with that!
I truly wasn't expecting the controls and animations to be so smooth! The combat was a touch too challenging for me (I got absolutely clobbered by the first rat boss), but all in all, this is a splendid little game.
This was amazing! The controls are super tight and I was immediately invested in the story. I did encounter a bug where I had to fight the second boss twice before progressing, but that was really the only thing I had trouble with. The art and music are amazing too! And even though some of the boss telegraphs could've been more clear, the fights themselves were well-balanced and just the right amount of difficult. It all just oozes personality and fun! Great job with this!
Ofc! I remember one that stuck out to me was the rat throwing the dirt balls, as while eventually I realized it happened in a general pattern of attacks, the first few times I was within the range of the boss and was caught very off guard by the immediate attack and damage. It left me a little wary approaching the boss when i had first started just because I didn't have any idea when it would happen before I ended up learning their entire attack loop. I also did have a moment in the cat fight where I was killed by the beginning of phase 2 because I didn't know that a blade would be appearing from the middle. That second one is obv a much smaller thing, but those were the two I noticed. The rest of the telegraphs were great though! It felt very fair when I died most of the time and it was very fun learning the bosses. Something as simple as a warning indicator for the cat blade or a windup for the dirt throw would totally get rid of any problems I'd had! Super excited to see whatever you both make next! This has definitely remained one of my favorites as I've rated some of the jam games and the uniqueness of this one just really sticks with me. I'll definitely be playing once the third boss is added in!! :)
Hey, thanks for playing :) Glad you liked the plot, we certainly had fun with it!
A note on difficulty - Our bosses are designed to require a couple of tries to beat them. Our method of measuring difficulty was to challenge our play testers to successfully beat the our bosses without losing any health, and of course, making sure we as the developers could do so as well. That being said, our sample pool of testers was small, so this is helpful feedback, thank you! And if you remember a particular attack you felt needed to be clearer, please let us know!
