my game features Glados from the game Portal, she's kind of a sarcastic bully to the player, so there's that

Solid game! The game was fun and cool. My only complaint is that the spider-like movement can be hard to control near ledges and it feels a bit uncontrollable but I enjoyed playing your game!

Developer

thanks for playing, yes spider is hard to control, its my first time using wall climb mechanics, I'll study more about it, thanks for the review!

Thicc glad0s nice touch. No complaints really, solid design.

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one crushing on glad0s, also Happy New Year to you!!!

Overall quite impressive! It doesn't relate to the theme too well, but otherwise I'd say this was quite well done for a game jam entry!

Developer

thanks for playing, the theme is explained in my devlog, I thought it was a quite brilliant plan🤣, also Happy New Year to you!!!

Solid game jam game! Plays really smooth (the wall climbing is super awkward at corners). Great variety. The only real down side is there isn’t enough puzzles. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for Playing, I knew I should have implemented ledge climb trigger but got too lazy doing it, its totally my fault, and yes there weren't so many puzzles, I purposely did that so the player can finish the game less than 10 minutes so that they can see the ending, which is advised by dev youtubers, and also I ran out of puzzle ideas😅, also Happy New Year to you!!!

I like this one! Good setups and puzzles. I would get stuck on some spots physically but would have already solved the puzzle, so my only feedback is a little more polish on the controls and this would knock it out of the park!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for Playing, yes the control is kind of a jittery, its my first time implementing wall climb instead of gravity manipulation, truly lesson learned!, also Happy New Year to you!!!

the game is really polished and really good, but the relation with the theme  could be more worked on, i think, but this is just my opinion, i'm just trying to give feedback. Also the controls are a little bit weird imo, so here is some advice: i'm not really experienced in making games but o think that in the next jam, you can try asking some friends to playtest the game. Don't take any of this seriously, it's just little details that i've noticed and thought how you can fix them. Overall the game is really really good and i think you can win the jam! :D

Developer

Thanks for playing!, and yes the controls are kind of a wonky, its my kryptonite, I have similar issues in my past jams, sadly I have no friends to playtest it with, but maybe I can watch tutorials for better controls! Happy New Year to YOU!!!
