How did you/your team interpret the theme?
You can choose to either poison everyone, no one or even only a type of person, but in all cases, you are not a hero, you are just an insane bartender.

How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Had a lot of fun. Might've over worked haha.

Good concept, and art, but the gameplay is definitely too hard, A/C go down about three times too quickly...

Developer

Yeah I know, I hope to fix this after the jam! Thanks for the comment :)

There is so much greatness here! Beautiful art and UI design, the music is great, and the game play is solid! The only real critique from me is that the difficulty spikes very quickly. I'd love to see a version where the difficulty is smoothed out a bit so I can play longer. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you so much! I myself, know that this mechanic is not forgiving, and am mad that I didn't change it before the deadline. Still, thank you for the feedback, I wish more people could've seen the multiple endings the game has :(

This game has one of the best styles I've seen this jam. The music, the character and UI design/feel, just fantastic! But I just couldn't play for more than a couple minutes because the A/C mechanic is so unforgiving. The amount of clicking very quickly tired out my wrist and I had to put it down. I'd love to see a version with that slowed down so I can actually play.

This was also one of the few games I've seen so far with a good in-game tutorial so well done there, as well!

Thank you so much! I wish I could change just one variable in the code that would make the A/C more forgiving, but I don't think it's allowed by the jam to change the game before the voting time ends... Still thank you for the comment, I really loved your game as well! As for the tutorial, I am surprised as well, I didn't expect it to be so straight forward, but I'm happy :)

Thank you! I wish the A/C mechanic was not as annoying as it currently is...

hey! this one was really damn cool. I loved the music, and the tutorial was really damn good. The vibes were great; and there was one thing that really stood out to me. in a lot of the games in this jam, they really make you feel like youre not the hero, but the difference in your game was that it made me feel like i wasn't a hero. i dont know if that makes sense, but that was really cool to me, and made it stand out a whole bunch. I loved the charcter design and art in general too! I got 3 of the endings, but i have no clue how you'd get the other ones. Biggest complaint though is just the clicking part, it didn't really feel necissary. maybe having a timer on the customers could do the same thing better? Great job overall! i really really loved this one.

Thank you so much ! It was what I was aiming for ! I know for the battery part, I just needed something that adds challenge, might not've been the best idea, but yeah ! Thanks again for the amazing comment, I'm so glad you understood my interpretation of the theme :) !

I really like the concept, the music and the characters were awesome! Getting into the game felt super natural, the tutorial was clean. I knew exactly what needed to do once the game started. Also I was really digging the art, something about the design of the characters, felt nostalgic..

Honestly i dont really know if im the kind of person to be giving notes likes these but some things id add or consider if you plan on continuing the project (i really do think you should):
- slow down the A/C maybe? I was starting to feel the heat irl clicking so much
- randomise the order of the drinks
- Not sure if it was endless or i just wasn't good enough to get further, but if its endless id have a score instead of the stars. every correctly served customer is xx points. Or a score based on the speed you serve a customer?
- customers ask for mixed drinks late game, like a half and half spirte or something to represent  it

Really good ideas here ! Thanks, and I know what you mean about the nostalgic feel ! I'll try to balance the game after the voting time is over, to make it a little more fun ! If my ac system was not as unforgiving as it is, you would've ended up with endings, depending on if you poisoned or healed the customers ! Still, thanks for the comment, and I'll check out your game as well :) !
