  • Very original and well made, would have liked to see the full "intended" concept, but jam durations are cruel like that ;) Unfortunately we couldn't figure out how to unlock the whole board. Regardless, good job overall!

Neat concept on the theme and how to progress the pinball machine, but yeah sorry you couldn't get all those mechanics in there. And without sounds and feedback it's not as engaging as it could be, I especially felt confused about progress and didn't feel like I was properly discovering a way forward.
I did however love the touch of the moon getting closer to you, and the flippers/nudge controls felt natural to engage with so nice work on what you got in there.

Yoo, very nice! I'm actually not a fan of pinball, but this actually played more like a platformer than anything else which I found really enjoyable :D Some sounds and camera shake would make this e p i c

It's pinball! I never got to the meteor unfortunately, as soon as I hit the build button, the whole game restarted (bug?). Overall pretty cool, but the game could definitely use sound and more feedback. I think pinball games are basically all satisfying feedback!

I know!  I can't wait to add that stuff!   I just don't have a good setup for the sound yet, and I needed all the time I could get for the mechanics.

The Build button is not actually a bug, that's the pathetic "you won" placeholder.  The plan was to have to get enough minerals and cash to build the different stages and get to see the rocket being built in the background, but that never happened, so hitting it once "wins".

I'll be uploading some more builds as I get that extra stuff in there!

Also, if you need a better gif, just let me know.  Unfortunately, it's really hard for me to show comprehensive proof, because it's rare for me to have more than 5 nodes in a graph.  :-P

This game was intended to convey the feeling of trying to build an escape vessel before the moon could strike the Earth, and featured a transforming gameboard and an upgrade system.  Unfortunately, time constraints caused the unifying elements to never quite make it in in time, but some of the transforming aspects remain.  The entire gameboard is not available at the start of the game, though the exact key I'll leave for you to discover.

However, when you DO get to the asteroid, you may need to use the nudge controls to get the ball farther along the ramps, as the intended low-gravity, flipperless system never quite made it in in time.

Finally, since the game isn't complete, you'll have to consider it complete once the Build target lights up and you get the ball into the pocket  (The game simply resets, at this time.)
