Nice game. I was missing a bit of sound when building stuff. after x houses play a bit of people sounds, makes you feel like making progress. the explanation stayed not long enough on screen, make me decided when to continue. now I had to start the game 10 times to figure out what to do. make your background more alive, moving stars, planets and stuff would increase gameplay without adding extra real gameplay. I could open the building menu when in main menu. didn't try out what happens when building a house in main menu. all in all a nice experience, one of the nicest games played so far.

feel free to try-out and rate my game.

Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely look up your game and play it as soon as possible :)

A huge tip: don't name the main parent folder of the game you upload as the name of the jam. I'm downloading lots of games from here and my folder is getting full of "BTP" subfolders and it makes it harder to find which game is yours.

  • The lack of sound effects make resource collecting way less exciting. It feels like i'm just lightly scratching the planet
  • It's not very intuitive. I know I have some resources like wood metal and stone, but how do I get residents? After some time trying to figure it out, I just quit the game.
  • It's clear that lots of effort was put into making sure that the game looks nice, and I appreciate it, the visuals are indeed very polished for a gamejam.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it. I wanted to implement some kind of tutorial system to the game but I didn't have enough time during the game jam. Same thing with sounds, I didn't have enough time to create my own sound effects before the deadline.

This is my first time I participate in a game jam and I have learned so much in this short period of time and I'm definitely going to use everything I have learned the next time I upload my own game :)

That is awesome, it's always a learning experience. If this is your first game jam then you're off to a great start! Just followed you here, can't wait to see your next projects.
