My strategy was not very smart: use Ladybugs and smash my keyboard again and again, but it works.

Theme:
Wonderful attempt to catch the theme in it's fullest. Definitely you can feel that game gets significantly harder with many bugs (it doesn't mean it's less fun tho :P i've loved smashing my keyboard and spamming all kinds of attacks).
Visuals:
They are great, bugs are lovely, UI is for sure the best I've seen on this jam and you really tried to get as much from it as possible (I love Bob!). From what I've noticed, you made a great use of particles, but they die instantly, which makes them look a bit unnatural (I know it's a small detail, but many details like that can make player search for mistakes, and we don't want this creating a game), so I would recommend setting SizeOverLifetime to curve that goes to 0 at the end, or setting ColorOverLifetime alpha go to 0. It should make blending of those effects a bit better.
Also it would be good if you've indicated that bugs were killed. You can do that by doing some simple puff particle on them or for instance creating a sprite variant with 'X' instead of eyes with a bit blanked color and disappearing by scaling size overlifetime, it might look pretty good ( I can be mistaken tho).
The last problem I had was with placing towers. It was hard for me to estimate where I can put my cute bug and where not and it made me a bit confused at some moments, especially when I wanted to place a bug during the wave and I couldn't place it. (would be also good to have 'back' button, so you can easily go back to playing without placing anything)
Innovation:
I'm a big fan of Tower Defense games and I've seen many amazing entries on the past jams, like having tower defense on your keyboard etc, but your's is something else xD I'm waiting for steam release, no excuses :P
SFX:
Sounds are really cute and well fitting, music on the other hand is also good, however same problem as with particles. If you could blend it a bit more, make some transitions so it's smoother then it would be an amazing piece to play to!
Gameplay:
Oh loved it, just not enough levels :P (enough for gamejam, but I'm hungry for more!). Game has a great potential to build upon, lovely atmosphere and artstyle that would definitely fit many peoples needs (there are many tower defenses like: Kingdom Rush or Anomaly that are a bit harder on the way they are made) as it's really friendly and feels really positive (It even has a lot of room for pretty good plot :P)
Game Design:
Amazing job on leading the player. Menu is so wholesome and fascinating. You give information in a very pleasant way and teach the player how to play before he even enters the game, that's very good idea. Game itself gets harder with every level pretty well. Maybe I felt a bit too strong on last couple of levels where I just had enough money to demolish any wave, but it's the matter of creating other enemy types etc. (Boss would be good). 'Kingdom Rush' is a great reference for that, they have used so many connections between towers and monsters that it's a great base to learn from.
And it's also good to reward the player after he beats entire game, even with simple art of happy ants or anything :P (Actually I was so overwhelmed by your game that I didn't feel the need for that, but it's useful to have).

Really cool game! It's a really nice way to make something interesting on a tower defense game, the theme was well implemented, every bug feels nice and the artstyle is really nice. Really nice job
Really cool game! I don't know if it was intentional, but I thought your voiceover stuff was really funny! I always enjoy a good tower defense game and this one was certainly unique. It might've just been my computer (Mac retina), but the UI was tiny. I could just barely make out the info. Other than that, great game!

I don't have much to say except CLAIRE whooped everyone's A$$!!!! Hahahahahah! Loved it so much. Although got really easy at the end, I could feel that my army has become very powerful. Everything was great from music to sound and also the feel of the game. Claire seemed to be the best defense I had. Thanks for such a good game!

I love the visuals and sound effects, they are very polished. I think the difficulty should raise more with each wave. It was quite easy but easy it better than too hard :)
This is a great game! I really like the idea, and it goes really well with the jam theme. The only problem I have is that the game is too easy! You can finish any wave by just placing many Deboras and Bobs, holding your mouse on an enemy, and randomly clicking keys. If you want to really make it necessary to place few towers, you need to make it much more difficult. But, anyway, it's still a very fun game.

What a great game! I really enjoyed the mechanics of taking an active role in a battle defense game. The art work and UI visuals was Amazing!! The music and SFX were cool and you were right in regards to less is more. The more bugs there were, the harder it was to take control of aiming and shooting. Amazing work!
First of all, this is quite impressive for a 7 day jam :)
And it seems like you have done all the assets yourself. That round start SFX made me giggle.
I am not sure why there is no fast pace option. Adding that would make this much more playable.

In terms of visuals this is stunning!! It is very well made for a Jam game. In terms of game play, it was fun but the more bugs I put in the harder it was to control everyone. I simply didn't have enough fingers LOL. I understand what you were going for but I don't think making the player control each bug with a different button is the way to go, it was just too overwhelming for me and my simple brain to deal with. Otherwise, fantastic game, you could release this as a commercial game for sure.
Thanks for your comment ! The point of the game is not to have too many towers at once else you're overwhelmed, remember, less towers means more efficiency in controlling every single one of them !
However, the game is not balanced enough yet, please play it again in a week when we get a chance to update it !

Really interesting twist on the tower defense genre. I normally don't find the genre very engaging, but your twist made me a lot more interested. Good visuals too. Really nicely done.
This game is awesome! It reminds me of Bloons tower defense. I especially enjoyed the sound effects.
Love the aesthetics and sound effects of the game! I think this would be a great take on a tower defense game however it needs a bit of balancing since spamming the buttons especially with upgraded lady bugs negates every having to use any other type of bug. Great job overall!
