I liked it, and I thought the core mechanic was unique! I thought it fit the theme pretty well. I found it especially difficult to fling the smaller smushes because the moving camera made it tough to grab them.  Good job overall!

I really liked this submission. Didn't like the music and sounds tbh, but I gave you high ratings in everything else

This game is fun to play and it's cute :p One thing I wasn't sure about is the meaning of health compared to smushes number. I know the less health you have the more smushes you'll get, but not sure of what is making you lose health. For example I thought at the beginning that exploding boxes would make me lose health. But overall it's quite good ! :)

I like the concept and the simplicity of it plus is fun to thrown the Shmushes around but I'm not sure the "auto-scrolling" really works here. Mainly because there's no indicator of how hard I'm going to "flick" them and what's on the other side and I have to sit and wait for the camera to catchup.

Perhaps creating a single "large room" with obstacles wit the objective being something like "Get as many LARGE Shmushes to the goal as possible" while avoid obstacles/hazards and maybe rescuing others from crates but only if you are a certain size, might be a good alternative.

Fun and can get very chaotic. I would lean into that a bit more though. Have the smushes multiply a lot more before finally dying. Also some indication of where you're dragging would be nice

I flicked a lot of Shmushes :) Fun game thanks.

Really cool concept. Love the simplicity of it and the gameplay is solid. Only suggestion from me would be a visualization of the power of the flick, so a pulled back line-renderer or something, but that's nitpicking, great game!

Developer

Thanks Dude! I wanted to include that, but it was the last day and I was tired. Thanks though!

Fun and cute game. My only complaint is the tiny shmush are a bit too tiny for me. I was having a hard time getting it to register I was clicking on them. Other than that I like the game. :)

You definitely got the theme of less is more as far as I'm concerned. If you flick too hard you can die off screen so its more useful to hold back AND if you get less health you split and the game becomes more challenging to micromanage the shmushes. You get a 5 on theme from me.

Developer

Thank you!

The flicking mechanic works really well, and being able to control how far you can flick is really satisfying. Having the shmushes split is a really intersting take on the theme, and things can get pretty crazy once you take a few hits and have to deal with a screen full of them!

I think it'd really benefit from having a retry button on the screen at all times - whenever I mess up, and lose my last shmush off the edge of the screen, I have to wait 10-15 seconds before the game even reaches a fail state for me to retry.

Developer(+1)

Im glad you liked it! If I ever update the game, I'll be sure to add a retry button!

Developer

Thanks!

Cool art style and a creative way of using the theme! The only thing is that i had a hard time controlling the player.

Developer

Thanks! I've seen that criticism a lot, so if I attempt something similar to this in the future I'll have to fix it, haha.

Cute shmushes, i thing was better move them slow and steady, but liked thrown them away ha

This is the type of game I enjoy finding in these jams! A simple fun little concept that makes you try out something new. This would be a great mobile game.

I had a bit of a hard time controlling the character, even more when he got split and smaller, but I enjoyed the gameplay very much. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for the compliments! The player controller definitely needs fixing if I ever update or make a similar game, but once again thank you!

Pretty interesting concept. Good job :)

Nice game, I love the enemies. Can you please play my game.

Interesting mechanic. It would be great if you add launch arrow,  which will show you flick direction.

Developer(+1)

Yes, I wanted to add that, but it was getting late and I was tired so I thought it would be best to leave it. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Confusing at first if I was supposed to be splitting my shmush or not. but the green dudes were super cute!

Developer

Glad to hear you like them! I suppose it would be good if I made what to do clearer, so I appreciate the feedback!

Intresting concept! I would like to see a tutorial, as it's a little hard to tell what is happening. The graphics were nice! good job!

Developer

it would probably be a good idea for a tutorial, yes. Glad you like the graphics!
