Great game to kill off time! I loved every little frame/animation and the music. Having 1 map is completely fine however there is a noticeable bug where the enemy was invincible. I liked how you made the player stop while attacking to add more difficulty.
OMG BEST GAME EVER.

I liked it - the graphics and music are good, killing enemies is fun. Of course, the game also has problems: due to the fact that you can't move during an attack, it is sometimes very difficult to hit and enemies appear in a large crowd from one point! But it's still really nice game
The animations are amazing and so it the art. Feels really retro and neato, really good game and thank you for publishing it.
I'm not sure what happened but my player became invincible and the enemies spawned on the same spot which made me spawn kill them, poor guys xc. Apart from that i loved the animations, music and the retro graphics.
Fun little fighting game! I enjoyed the retro graphics and sound effects as well as the simplistic display of power vs health. I tried to so something similar in my game with the less health = more damage idea.
If you wanted to improve, I suggest giving some sort of indication of where enemies are going to spawn. I died and lost a run due to an enemy spawning right on top of me.

i played your game, i understand the take on the theme, no complains there, i would love to have the attack button somewhere else! like the space bar or the mouse click i would like to know what led you to that design choice, other thing that happened was a bug, after killing like 30 monsters, only one started to respawn over and over in the same spot, basically making the game unable to progress, loved the main character pixel art!
My biggest complaint would be, that enemies spawn on me and I die from that, which is super unforgiving. You could make the player invincible for a short time when the spawning happens or mark the position for a few seconds where enemies will spawn.
Also I would have preferred the Space key as the attack button, because my thumb is free, but pressing E requires me of letting go D.
I really like, that there is an indication for the current attack power (and not only for the HP).

The pixel art in this game is just fantastic! The only problem I had with the game was that the enemies kept spawning on me, other than that it's amazing!
Very good! Beautiful character design and animation. Maybe need invulnerability when taking damage and highlight place where mobs going to spawn. Perfect theme interpretation in two cases: hp/damage balance and less features become more polished and nice looking game. Well done!
The Arts are great and a very simple Game! but im afraid it is too simple that it feels very repetitive and hollow. I suggest you to add a screenshake and more effects! also the hit detection is very weird. for example when im done swinging my axe it still hit the enemies. I think the detection should be instantiated one time only. And also i would like to attack with my left mouse button.
I bounded it to E as an extra nod to the theme by making the game playable with one hand, i see now though that I probably shouldve allowed for left click to be usable as well. Thanks for the feedback though.

Very addicting game with simple rules. But which part is "less is more"?
The more health you have the less damage you deal to the enemies and vice versa!
It's fun.
