Hard but fun i really enjoyed it

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you did. :)

Really awesome game - i particularly like that it often becomes a race between the fire and the player to do stuff before certain this burn up - all while you should not burn up yourself!

Great game!

Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!

This game was a lot of fun. I think adding a coop mode will make it even better. This is the first 5/5 game I played in this jam

Developer

Thank you for those comments! It was an honor to receive your 5/5. And yeah, I think a coop mode could be really fun.

I vote yes. that sounds grate!

This was so awesome! I loved the mechanics, and the level design is absolutely fantastic! One of the best games in the jam easily, well done!

Developer

Thank you for your nice comments. I appreciate you. ^_^

This was actually good. This should win jam. Two player coop with lighting your friends on fire and stuff would do well on youtube streams.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I really liked the fire mechanics and the levels, but I don't get how the game fits into the theme,.

Developer

Thank you for the comment! ^_^ If you are curious how I got this idea from the theme, you can check the video below. However, in short, the idea is that the more you burn up, the less time you have to complete the level.

Thank you for playing and the comment! If you're at all interested how I got the idea from the theme, you can check the video below. In short, the more you burn the less lifetime you have.

Awesome game, the levels were very well made and everything is really polished, only thing that bothered me a little was the speed the fire spread, I spent some time just waiting the fire get to where I wanted

Developer

Good feedback! I was afraid of that, but I ran out of time; so I couldn't balance it. But I will keep that in mind for the future. Thank you for playing! ^_^

Awesome mechanic. Loved playing this one :) Would be cool to be a larger game. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! A few people have said that, and now I'm considering making it a full game too. ^_^

Haha i loved this game ! The chore gameplay mechanic is super cool ! Good job with the level design and ideas !

Keep up the good work !

Developer

This is a good game with good level design and scaling difficulty. If there is other stages in the future I will play it! If you were to do that I suggest changing the background as its very bland as of now. Other than that little criticism like the character design and the tilemaps looks great.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I agree about the background. I'll have to spice it up in the future. And based on the feedback I've gotten on this game so far, I am thinking of continuing it and making it a bigger game.

Nice little game with a creative mechanic! Thank you for making it so easy to skip the dialogue.

Developer(+1)

You're welcome! I know how tedious dialogue could get, so that was one of the first things I added.

It's really good platformer with interesting mechanics and pleasant look. Last level and 2 ways to get throught this is cool! I really enjoyed it!

Developer

I did not know there were two ways to get through the last level. XD But if you found another way, then that is awesome!

Submitted

You can push flaming barrel on both ways of this bridge. Both grant u win :D

I don't really get how the game fits into the theme, but the game is cure, so mah who cares, really... (^u^)

Developer(+1)

Jajaja. Thank you! I tried to make Match as cute as possible and now he's become one of my favorite characters to come out of my mind.

If you're at all interested, I made a devlog where I show how I came to this idea by using the theme.

Nice idea, I like the design of the levels, sometimes I was burning faster that other times and was difficult to finish , good Job.

Developer

Thank you! I was trying not to make it too easy. I still think I can improve with that. However, it is always encouraging to hear that others enjoyed it. ^_^
