The art is so nice! Chill vibes all around, and I can't get enough of the cat sprite- especially mid-animation when knocking things off the shelves. Nice relaxing game, I do in fact LOVE IT!

I adore the art of this game so much, its so gorgeous and ethereal! The purple shadows, the orange lighting, everything comes together to make this a really nice visual experience. The audio is also really good for enhancing that mystical atmosphere, and overall the presentation of the game is great! I think the only real suggestion I'd make is to increase the movement speed by a little, but its still a really charming experience! Good job !! :D

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Nice work on the art and music. However, I think you could enhance the gameplay loop with some sort of challenge or objective. While playing, I quickly understood what I was supposed to be doing (which is a good thing!), but it wasn't interesting enough to keep me playing for long. Another way to address this would be by adding cats or people who need the potions you're making. This way, the player would feel more rewarded by seeing these clients really happy with the potions Chloe is making, while still fitting within the game's context since it's a potion shop! Well, I think that's it! I hope to see more of your games soon :)

Really cool game, the pixelart looks amazing and together with the sound its super relaxing to play. I would say if you wanted to make it harder you could let the player look at the recipe only once for every potion.

Very relaxing!

Wow! It turned out really cool! I give all 5 stars! Congratulations on the end of the jam! Can you also rate my game?

vibes are extraordinary, the art and music choice are great, as a fully fleshed out game this would be soo nice and relaxing to play. the overlap of themes from the different jams was really cool to see as well!

Loved the visuals and the music, it really creates a calm game to play. Great job!!

The game looks phenomenal!

This game looks astonishing, the music is great and the gameplay is nice!
The gameplay gets boring quick though, but the game itself is really well polished, great job!

Yes i absolutely agree, I had other concepts in mind at the beginning of the project but kept on EAing it and removing planned features to meet the deadline lol.

The art in this game was FANTASTIC! It provided a really great atmosphere

Thank you so much! I am new to godot so i figured i would put my all into the art to make up for it lol

Very nice visuals. But with the gameplay there was no main goal, and it would say I got the recipe wrong when I got it right. Good work though, love your art!!

Developer

Thanks for the reply! This was my first attempt at using Godot and it was a learning curve using their ways of traversing code so things were not done properly right from the beginning. I will be working on it after the jam though and rebuilding it from the ground up to add a goal system in and really bring things together!
