Awesome concept - I havn’t seen that before. I like how simple and yet complex the building mechanism was.

However, it’s lacking a bit more guiding introduction. I was quite lost in the beginning even after reading the tutorial slide multiple times. Also (as already said beneath) it would be nice to get some idea of best practices.

Keep it on - nice work!

Thank you so much for checking it out!

Definitely want to expand on the idea a bit and make the beginning a little more intuitive. Also thinking about adding an optional tutorial level where you start out in a pot (only a few soil tiles) with some randomly generated beginning trunk/leaf/roots design.

Sounds nice, excited to check it out then

Fun simulator, I would recommend having a tutorial with a sort of "baseline" tree to show what a good trunk to lead to root ratio is and how you might build a sustainable tree. It took a lot of trial and error to move forward for me at least. Great concept and good job!

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I will definitely add a tutorial /  have some starting tree tiles already laid out.

Loving the ceoncept but struggling to lay any roots. Can you give me some tips?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The first root tile needs to be attached to the trunk so just make sure you put some trunk down first.

Unfortunately I didnt get around to balancing it much, but I recommend not building too many roots at the start because they are quite energy intensive and you dont need too much water until you start putting out more leaf tiles.

Ah OK, i had to make the trunk a bit wider. Thanks :)  I made it two days XD
