I really enjoyed this game, making this in the short timeframe of a game jam is a good acomplishment. As you obviously know it could use some work, there are a few bugs and it could benefit greatly from a visual pass. Some animations, sound effects (and lower the bgm volume), some particle effects. This would all bring the overall design and user experience up. I think you should definitely keep working on this, I couldnt see a gds asset so you haven't followed the rules and should be disqualified however i felt this deserved a rating regardless. Feel free to pop into the discord if you need advice/support.
