- Visually clean looking game and was nice choosing different soups to make and serving customers. Bit of a missed opportunity of giving the player an opportunity to use the ingredients themselves instead of have them have a stats. The game lacked a bit of clarity in terms of what was clickable or draggable. Would've also been nice to how your rival was doing in terms of customers.
- I didn't see a mystery companion in your game at all this is why the theme didn't get a 4/5. Overall the gameplay was good and the story was well presented and mechanics and feel fit together really well.
Tell us about your game!
in this game you take the role of a chef running a soup shop, facing off against your old pal Marco, who's determined to outshine you in the rivalry for the best soup in town."

Hey!
How are you? It's Ilias again. I have some new questions for you.
What do you think about game jams in general, and this game jam in particular? What do you think could have been better, and do you have any suggestions?
What were your favorite video games?
Where do you think the strength of video games resides? What do you believe a video game should have to be a successful video game?
If you would like, you can tell me a little bit more about yourself and your background, if you have any information you would like to share.
Thank you in advance,
Ilias.

Nice idea and cute graphic! I took me a lot of time to understand that "Start Cooking" text is a button) I would make it as a button and also a short visual tutorial would help. But as we were limited in time this still a great one!
Nice laid back game with good graphics, would have been nice if there was minigames for each sabotage to make the game more dynamic :)
A fun game which is pretty unique, I enjoyed playing it.
Though I do have one piece of feedback, almost all of the game was just waiting. Even while cooking a meal, it's safe to AFK, and you'll only get hit once every four or so dishes from what I've seen. It's a pretty laid back game, so this does fit, but the bullet hell segments feel out of place if you don't need to do anything.
Nice graphics, cute minigame and overall very good experience.
Regarding the competition: it was mentioned, but not visual in any way. It would have helped to see how far in front of marco you actually are so that it's actually more of a competition.
All in all, very nice!
Well done, that’s a nice starting point, the screen could have been bigger though, or maybe providing the option to go fullscreen could help! I really like the idea of minigame inside the gameplay, maybe you could add some new minigames for when trying to sabotage Marco, I feel like it would have been more interactive. Also I couldn’t find the use of ingredients for recipes, are they just here for information? Good work overall!
thank you for your feedback, I wanted to use a system where you can use the ingredients, but unfortunately, the time run out.
This is a very well game. It isn't my type of game so I have limited feedback but this gives off passport control vibes. Loved the storyline too reminded me of ratatouille. Onboarding could be better for players like me.
The game was really fun and interesting. The storyline is fun and it fits the theme really well! The sound effects are good and I liked the minigame when food was cooking. For some reason I couldn't get rid of the dish I made, and it's hard to understand what's going on at first. Besides that you did a great job!
I liked the look of the game and the sounds. It would be cool if the minigame we play changed depending on the type of soup
Hey,
The best soup in town Developer. I played your game.
I wanted to ask you which game engine you have used, and then I saw the Unity logo. So, your story insists on Marco being jealous of your success.
Some feedback:
At first, the gameplay is not clear. I tried dragging the bowl; I thought it was interactive at first, and then I realized it was selected. So, the difficulty seemed a little unfair.
I encountered some freezes; the game stopped. Are those recurrent?"
I liked the concept of this game! I will love to see it going on a further development!
