Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • I really think you should have allocated a little more time to the jam. Its easily in my view one of the top 10 games and having a bit more of love sent its way could have been drastically improved. Keep around the discord appreciate your submission, ratings and feedback during the jam.
  • Good RTS type game, wide range of character classes and options for upgrades. Functional leaderboards gives another aspect to aim for in terms of challenge and competition. Spawned units sometimes hard to get track off since they don't get added to the selected group at the start. Although enemies and allies have different sprites when they are all clumped together, it's hard to tell sometimes, possibly could be adjusted with different colored health bars for ally units and enemy units

Hey! this is my jam entry. I decided to join late and had about 5 days all in all to create this game. I hope you enjoy it!

The strategic concept is really good, I liked the way the game unfolds over time. To be honest, I don't remember playing other RTS games at the moment, but I'm sure I have because I remember similar mechanics. The game is well done, the art is really beautiful, and the music and sound effects fit the environment, congratulations on the great work!

Hey!

How are you? It's Ilias again. I have some new questions for you.

What do you think about game jams in general, and this game jam in particular? What do you think could have been better, and do you have any suggestions?

What were your favorite video games?

Where do you think the strength of video games resides? What do you believe a video game should have to be a successful video game?

If you would like, you can tell me a little bit more about yourself and your background, if you have any information you would like to share.

Thank you in advance,

Ilias.

Hey  Maye !

How are you? it's Ilias , i got to play and test your game "All your cats will belong to us!" .

Well crafted pixel art and simplistic visuals when properly made can be a beautiful choice for a video game espieccialy when combined with 3D views and environements

it's seems challenging to me to create a game with pixel art , and i have a plan to do so too in the future when it's possible to me.

Pixel Art Games with 3D can be Fun Games can be cool and can be adventurous and nice memories !!

Questions:

Did you implement any optimization techniques, or did you choose to use only in-engine optimizations?

What engine and tools did you use to create your game, including the graphics?

How challenging was it to develop your game? Did you face any significant obstacles?

What inspired your game idea and gameplay? Could you share the story behind the game's name?

How did you get into video game development?

Note: It would mean a great deal to me if you could rate my game. If you haven't already, feedbacks from friends and fellow gamers is valuable to me. Thank you in advance for your consideration and your time.

Thanks!

Hey Marius! finally got to play your game bro, for 16 hours, this is a very well made game, I really think this would have been insane if you had more time. The only RTS game in the jam. So rarity 1/1 💯
Really Fun game, Sadly RTS is not my thing so I couldn't make the leaderboards :(

Developer(+1)

I'll take that 1/1 any day. Thanks for playing and your feedback!

Even though you joined late, you did a great job. I really liked the look of the game. I liked the mechanics of selecting troops. Well done!

Developer

Thanks! If you have things which you think could be improved on, please let me know. I feel that with proper time and effort, this could be even better.

great game, i managed to survive for quite a long time at the end with my one archer just by kiting the enemies around. the healer felt a bit weak, but i liked the level ups and how they changed the appearance of the characters!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

Glad you found out about the archers. The are pretty powerful if upgraded in the current build ( let's just ignore the healer at all at this point :P )

Super neat entry, target acquisition is sometimes a bit clunky but nothing really  unexpected from a jam game.

Really like how the three classes completes each other, the random spawns prevent archer spam from being too viable and bosses makes tanks a necessity, nice balancing act. The presence of the leaderboard position as well as the score needed to climb it is a really nice touch.

Would have loved to have a clearer way to know when the healer is actually healing his mate.

Developer

Thanks for your time!

I'm glad you had to experience some synergy, it was definately the hardest part of this entry. Enough to improve on once I continue work on this game :)

Thanks <3
