Very nice game! There were definitely a LOT of gizmos. I loved the little death particles. It was so funny and very enjoyable, great entry! :3

I was frantically adding particles to everything as the submission time drew near because the game felt a bit bland. Glad it paid off.

It’s a good difficulty for speedrunning. And I think it’s fine for new players as well, since they don’t know how to cheese the game yet. There is an issue with the spawner hitboxes though: if you shoot them from the side, the bullets will phase through unless you aim perfectly for the bottom.

Ah yeah it's an artifact of the hand-rolled "physics". I can probably increase spawner hit boxes though.

Simple, but I really liked it. Though I did figure out that you can just hold the spacebar and "snipe" the spawners from outside the enemies' aggro range, which made the last couple of spawners pretty trivial to destroy.

I think the sniping can be solved by better level design but I ran out of time, so the map is just circles and lines. 

I considered giving the bullets limited range but kind of liked that you can just play in map view late game, it feels on theme.

I should have made this game. Right up my alley. I'm too tired to try harder right now, but I love the game type, I liked the look, everything was very nice!

I found this really engaging and a clever use of gizmos. Only complaint is the camera could use some smoothing, otherwise a fun game. Nice job!

Thanks! I agree about the camera and someone else mentioned it too. Will work on it for a post-jam update.
