Very nice looking graphics. And loved the music. Fighting mechanic is something to improve, but overall solid foundation to build upon!

The enemy attack animations make this game's combat feel really satisfying. Too often these sorts of games can feel really unfair with small player hitboxes and enemies that insta-attack, but this game really got it right, in my opinion. I do wish that the animations better reflected the hitboxes, because it would be more visually satisfying, but it still feels pretty good. The inventory was a tad jank, but not much of an issue when you stockpile items. I managed to get to the turtle which I assume was the end of the game. Nice work!

Really cute sprites! Especially the main character. The hit box testing was a bit off, so I had trouble hitting the enemies without being hit myself.

Very cool game. Love the sprites. It would be cool to see more enemies and more potions in the future.
