Interesting game, I could see it being used to teach kids how to type. However, like other commenters have said, you really need to use real words. Right now, it felt like Two-Factor-Authentication-Simulator. Type the code we have sent you via SMS. Haven't received anything? Send the SMS again. Better hurry, that car is about to plow into yours. ;)

Simple idea, I liked it. However it starts really slow. After restarting twice I didn't want to wait the 2min until the difficulty becomes "fun"
Yeah I agree with bbstilson that typing games are always fun. Really enjoyable. I would have played more but having to go through the first few levels is a bit tedious. A level select would have been awesome!
Typing games are always fun and yours was no exception :)
I think a few things could have made it more fun / clear:
- using real words instead of random letters
- something that forces the player to dodge every car (maybe that means fewer cars, or cars that spawn in the same “lane” as the player). Due to the randomness, I sat to let several cars pass before having to do anything.
- Using green text instead of red. I thought I was doing something wrong.
Congrats on completing the jam!
Happy to see a typing game in the jam. Usually that's my job, haha. I agree with JacquesJ's feedback.
I like typing games, I think you did a good job gradually increasing the difficulty. I think you should have used real words instead of random chars to make it more fun, just typing random letters wasn't very fun and I don't think typing by itself fits the theme of Combining.
