i liked the game, the art is awesome, the music too, but the snakes are too slow hahaha, hey man i will apreciate if you play my game and rate it, https://itch.io/jam/benbonk-game-jam-1/rate/659306

Developer

Glad to hear it

Nice game, pretty artstyle and pretty fun. But I think it was a little bit slow for my taste and didn't fit the theme that much.

Developer

Yeah we tried to hit the theme with the principal of stealing, but I understand that that never really required the premise of trust to begin with.

Submitted

Maybe as an idea... the other characters could've been squirrels too and some might help you while others steal from you.

Submitted

Really neat game, gotta steal from those snakes!

No Nuts for Snakes!!!

I love the art and gameplay! :D. The wink in the logo is a bit suggestive XD

XD! Wait was that intentional?  Hey, would you mind checking out and rating my game in the meantime please?

It was a bit buggy i think, i couldn't see the arrows or pick up some nuts

Developer(+1)

The green arrow showing home base only shows up when you have a nut, and unfortunately I didn't make it clear that the nuts in your home base are there to stay because that is the main goal.

Ooh, well with this kknowledge I'll try it again :D

I liked the gameplay concept and the raycasted shadows. Maybe make the squirrel move a little faster, because it was really hard as-is. Or maybe I'm just bad :p

Developer

There was plenty of debate on the speed of the snake, but we decided to keep it fast with the goal of avoiding the snakes all together.
