  • How do I start the game? I had to press all the buttons on my keyboard before learned that it was the space key. Are the controls taught or presented somewhere? I missed them. Either show me what they are or offer them under a menu some place. If you just say press space to start it would be enough. You have it on the continue screen that way, so just add that to the start screen.

    Once I was able to figure out how the game works, I felt it was enjoyable. Good job.

    After I pick up 5 birds do I hit my max and the rest do not help me?

    I got stuck on the left hand side of the game when I had 5 birds and had to get hit again to get free. Maybe a simple collision bug.

    I like the old game boy art style. It helps to keep things simple and consistent and easy to follow.

    I also like the mechanic of the clouds forcing you forward but you being able to escape them by gaining more birds which make you go faster.

    The music was decent but could get repetitive over time. The sound effects were decent and not overwhelming.

    Overall decent game with consistent style, music, and sound scape.

    Fix these few issues and you are free to build on what you have.

    Good job, keep building and on what you have.

  • Nice ideas; like the whirlwind and collecting birds. Not very challenging

  • Nice mechanic of build a flock, that also work as lives and reduces storm front. Great sound design! Music, sound effects and gfx all work together to build a classic game feel.

    Small things to fix given more time: 
    No clear indicator what are hostile things. Background can easily be confused with a cave with walls. Everything is tied to the success of picking up birds for your flock, if you fail you get a double penalty of not getting the life and not stopping the storm front.

  • Musiken är jätte bra! Den passar perfekt in i atmosfären. Spelet har annors också jätte bra atmosfär, rikit retro meininki.

    En bugg jag lade märke till är att om man nappar en fågel vid kanten av rutan så blir man fast :S.

    Spelet kunde bli svårare desto längre man har kommit. Just nu verkade det inte som att fienderna kom alls snabbare ner...
