This is really lovely, very nice look, beautiful map, great adventure. Don't think I could read it at A5 but I will be printing and using at A4!  Wonderful stuff.

Thank you so much!

This is great, very on theme, love the map in particular.

Beautiful cover and a nicely drawn map. Also the tone of blue you have chosen for the spot colour works really well with the aged pages background.

Really liked the adverture itself, you have managed to fit a lot of interesting challenges to throw at the players.

The pulp literature inspiration is coming really strong with this one. I'll likely run it in Hypertelurians as it's such a strong mach theme wise.

Developer

Thank you so much! This is the first old school style work for me and my partner, so it means a lot! And thanks for the recommendation because I'll be checking out Hypertelurians since it seems to fit the adventure!

It's funny to me how you made this title into a sci-fi game. The dungeon is really nice though. The map is such a great help. Great job overall.

Developer

Thank you! I didn't want to make it too obvious and I also wanted to blend several genres in the way that Weird Fiction writers did it in the early 20th century. So the first thing that came to mind when I first discussed it with my partner (the artist for the cover, the map, and the layout) was "Spacefarers and a Knight!"

Compliments to your artist as well then, because that vibe is immediately obvious with the cover!

Super suave.  Like to see Into the Odd.  Love the juvenilia cover.  I appreciate that you spelled out the influences but to be fair Clark Ashton Smith missed the original Appendix N for whatever reason (even though it seems like he should be in there).

Developer

Thank you so much! Yes, I don't necessarily follow the original Appendix N list that Gygax made and leaned more to the Weird Fiction authors. I believe Clark Ashton Smith should've been there because his works seems to be in line with other Appendix N works 😅

I positively love the isometric map! The layout is excellent. The pathing is excellent. Lore is excellent, with many opportunities to deliver it (murals, books, journals, Joff). The Knight's predicament is excellent. It seems there's no method of "beating" the adventure, but we're talking about cosmic horror! Excellent!

Thank you!

The cover and map art are both very effective. The layout is very clear. I really like how the "best" outcome for this adventure is kind of quiet, almost underwhelming. Pretty much any ending could leave the players on a strange, unsettled note rather than a triumphant one, which feels very appropriate for a classic sci-fi/science fantasy story. Very good entry, easily among the top.

Joff is an excellent inclusion. It's always great to have a weird little guy to interact with.
