Are you looking for other people to team up with? Do you have an idea you'd like to share?
Please feel free to use this community discussion forum to introduce yourself and brainstorm or talk about what you would like to do at the jam, what your unique skills are, etc. Make sure you discuss what you're hoping to get out of the jam with your teammates, so that expectations are clear. Lots of people will be working solo, so there's not problem with that either!
Please avoid publicly sharing personal information that might make you identifiable in real life.
If this is your first time doing a game jam, don't be intimidated! We're here to answer any questions you have and are committed to supporting you in every way we can.
On our overview page, we also posted this list of game-making resources to help you get started.
And this tutorial on making interactive stories with bitsy
Using tools like Bitsy, Flickgame, or Twine, it's possible for a complete newcomer to make their first game on their own! Remember that we also encourage participants to make board games, pen&paper games, live action role playing games, etc!
We hope you have a good time and enjoy yourself!
