This is a fun track, it almost gives me aquatic vibes for some reason. It had me bobbing my head through the whole thing. I think the rhythm really excels in this piece, but I do think that it gets a little repetitive. I could definitely hear something like this in earthbound
Cute track! My first impression of it is that it could be something from PVZ, haha. I enjoyed the A section and could hum to it. However, I can't do the same for the B section. I understand the techniques you're using but I am just not too sure what to listen to. Perhaps one way to go about this is to use more distinct sounding instruments or empahsize on the panning
I like the overall energy of the piece and thinks it match the theme very well.
However the B part (at around 0:36) seems a bit rushed composition wise, it is not distinct enough from part A and also have some clashing dissonances between the different instruments.
I would change the panning on the percusion. Make the bongos play between the left and right channels as a ping pong; and the others percussion being in different pannings too. The bass is clipping a little, that means is too loud, try to EQ the low frequencies of the others intruments to give the bass its own space and lower lts volume. Finally, the reverb and delay on the melody is taking too much space, I would lower the volume of it too.
Beyond that, it is a good song.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and give feedback. I needed this and really appreciate it!
