Track description | Creative process
My submission to this jam, I have tried to mimic the style of Animal Crossing as best I could in the time I had.

Fantastic work. Spot on as an ambient track for the game at hand, letting you play without bothering you and at the same time managing to create some interest without a melody, which is so damn difficult. The sounds chosen are great and the attacks of the guitar create a laid back but energetic vibe. You tell me this comes from the real game, and I would believe you.

The simplicity of this is what makes it BIG. Never felt tired of the cute tunes.

I say you emulate the animal crossing music style pretty well, with the cute soundfonts and spacious bass notes. This feels like an ost when you enter a building for a special villager or something. Great work!!

Nice, the fact that not much is happening at once really feels like an Animal Crossing tune, like some background music that takes the player on a colourful journey without taking their attention away from the game. Congrats :-)

There isn't much vertical movement here, but you got the "short and sparse notes" right.

I love the space you've left in the arrangement, a key part of any Animal Crossing bgm :) I love how 'idle' this feels. I could potter about all day to this, pulling weeds and picking shells up on the beach. Solid work well done :)

Oh i like this very much ! Has a Animal Crossing and kinda JRPG vibe. I had the feeling that i could play the game and chill, while having that music on the background which felt very nice. The musical ideas and rythms are great, maybe with some tweaks on the mixing part and 1 or 2 instruments added for development would have been even more awesome :)

This really nails the vibe, like Duck said, I'm ready to start doing tasks in a small animal village now x.x I don't think I could tell a difference if you mixed this in the OST, great work!

Very cool! I could see this during some dialogue with a town person. Or collecting shells. Great job!

Nice percussion details, chill vibe. A bit lacking of development. Overall good work!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I know it craves  for some develovment but sadly, I have not had the time to develop my ideas as much as I would like to.

I love the bounciness of this track, the sound and feeling is so right! It sounds like a very early morning track of Animal Crossing, well done!
