Laying back and CHILLING to this. Love the chord choices.

Love the mix between lofi and the cute synths that give a calm track made for the theme! I imagine this could be a track played at night. Great work!

Nice background track, calm and simple. A bit ripetitive, with some variations could have worked better, but good job on nailing the mood.

Overall, I liked the track. I especially liked the mix and the use of (what sounds like) some interesting harmony choices.

My only real criticism is that I felt the key you used did not quite match the feel of the game. In my opinion, this track would benefit from a 'brighter' key signature and maybe a little more upbeat, lightheartedness to the melody.

Thank you for sharing your work! :)

I like the bass you have under there :) nice chill piece!

The slow strumming is very -enfolding- and brings you into the mental space quickly right at the start.  Which makes it almost -overqualified- for Animal Crossing based on the game's real OST.  I liked how the cutting off of the strings kind of doubles as a percussive beat which fits into the rest of the percussion.  Really impressed here with this one.

Interesting take on the theme - the fact that not much is happening fits well in the context of video game background music I think :-)
Maybe a bit more work on your low ends (seem a bit muddy and confused) and your stereo field could go a long way with your mix !
Congrats on a nice entry :-)

Not very much happening, fits ok.

Really digging the flow you got here, with that "shaker feel" but using a drumset. Also like the bubbly bass. Mysterious tones but not too dark. Maybe not exactly what the developer had in mind for Animal Crossing, but interesting and fitting as an ambient track. Something dark is lurking at that beach!

As a criticism, I would only say that the closing muted guitar hits at the 4th beat of the first three bars sound harsh without the snare, as if it had clipped, making the entrance to the song a bit uncomfortable, and the same again when they get looped.

Nice vibe! Interesting percussion section. Maybe too short, but overall good work!

This jam's game was a good opportunity to create minimalistic pieces but to me it loops a bit too quicly, the original animal crossing soundtrack get away with this by introducing some jazzy chords and some nice chamber music writing, with instrument responding to each other. Here the chord progression is a bit naked.

This is a nice track I like the vibe it has, even if it doesn't quite evoke Animal Crossing, it has charm and it's interesting. Good job!

Nice demake sounding actually, you shouldn't be ashamed at all. It's a bit simple but that just makes it MORE compatible not less. Good job!
