This is one of those games that would make a great learning tool (be it AI programming or population control).  Nicely done!

Excellent, I love the concept. How do the animals move? do they move randomly or something more intelligently?

Developer(+1)

Its random movement where they choose a random location within a radius of themselves to move to. Unless they find food or a mate, at which point they move towards it instead.

Everything seems to work, they move, they eat, they mate. It could use a way to get some kind of overview, how many of each animal is there at the moment? Is the population declining or rising? A zoom in and out.

It's a working ecoSim, and that's good. Solid result for a jam.

I like the concept, but the game is paused for me. I can control everything, but nothing is alive

Developer (1 edit)

The P key can be used to pause/unpause the simulation

I like the concept. The camera needs work.

This was a cool simulation!  Fun to watch them and add bushes for them to eat -i like the simple style too -nice work! :D

It is actually a cool concept; but not much is going on in terms of entities.

I am more impressed by the amount of entities that can be simulated on screen without lag rather than the game :)

Great job nonetheless!
