  • For my tactics game, I got the feedback that movement and attack can be consolidated into one mouse button, with no mode switching. The action is determined by the context of the mouse click. It's even easier for your game since you can never move to the enemy's side, or attack your own side.
  • Lots of middle shades in the graphics, increase the contrast somehow.
  • "It's promising" is the best feedback I can give at this point, and it seems to be what you're looking for with the state it's in now.
