Killed mimics and got to the golden end. I actually liked this game, killing mimics was fun, the puzzles were great and the scares actually got me. The water looked nice along with the environment, although it could use more decoration. I feel the player moved too fast and turned too fast. The map was big so maybe a slower walking speed and a shift to run system would benefit greatly here. Tutorials were good, although I did get a little lost before I realized where to find the axe so maybe some clarity in that zone would help. The mimics were good and had good ai so good job there. Overall I liked it and look forward to more enemies, levels and a story.

Are the controls explained somewhere? I figured out that space jumps and c crouches, but there should be a prompt for these buttons (instead of telling the player that they "can jump here").

I agree with elb that the visuals are shaping up greatly. Movement and mouse sensitivity are too floaty, however. The player character should have more weight when hacking enemies with a melee weapon. Having any kind of place holder sound effects would go a long way for adding better game feel and communicating that something happened (such as when you press or step on buttons).

Thanks! I forgot to put some instruction, I’ll do that in the game page for now.

I liked the visuals and the musical motifs. That being said, melee combat feels pretty floaty, and having a sound for hitting the mimics would go a long way in helping it feel better.
