I enjoyed this tactics game a lot and I think it will be pretty good overall if you flesh out the game more with more skills and equipment and deeper mechanics. As of now though, the prototype was pretty good and made me feel like strategy played a big part in the game.
The first scenario was tough at first, but after finishing the second scenario, I could finish it really easily.
Second scenario was extremely hard, but when I figured out that the archer had a sword as well, used the monk more offensively and started using side attacks more effectively, I won and it felt pretty good when I managed to beat it. There was definitely strategy involved and it was very challenging.
You're gonna have to ditch the bfxr sounds in the future for sure, that healing sound hurts.
It would be nice to have tiles lit up for how far you can move.
Was it intended to have one character move out of the way of my archer's attack and then be able to move back in place? That was in interesting mechanic.
Missing was horribly frustrating, but then I started going for side attacks more which made them more managable.
At one point I think at one point an enemy walked away from my swordsman and my swordsman didn't attack him, which was a bit unfair.
Keep up the good work
