In case you missed it in the thread I did a playthrough of your game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlryYx_oiKQ
ok, i sped the drop rate / monster spawn rate up a bit
Attache Case: The video game meets The Oregon Trail is pretty neat, but it's suuuper slow. It's also not super clear how some of the mechanics work, like the benefit of adding more ammo to guns and the targeting thing on enemies. Some sort of tutorial and a more strait forward interface would help, and a fastfoward key for the vast sections of nothing that the game has.
Interesting game, I've never seen anything quite like it. The art all looks good. I agree with Cox though, felt a little slow at times. Seems like it should either be more actiony, where youre trying to manage your inventory quickly to keep things moving. Or you should be able to step forward when youre ready into the next encounter.
There is a lot of little details that when into this, it shows extremely well, keep it up!
My biggest gripe with it though, is it's too slow. I only fought a handful of enemies and got bored because it felt too clunky and trudged too slowly. I really hope you can find a way to make the time between combat more interesting or just happen faster.
