I think I made it to point after defeating the all the faghosts in Leik? That battle took me 45 minutes... which was too long. After that, there was an empty credits screen rolling. Only when I moved up the ladder did the scene trigger where Kasim goes underground. I then got to the final battle which also took me 30 minutes. I liked the story, but I really think the battles should be shorter.

Finally there is a bug occurance found here, the Kasim goes to underground event is bugged, it is not closed properly then. And i really appreciate your inputs here, i will consider that gameplay experience should be refine in the future projects. I do want to extend this game and lenghten it's storyline, so i will make battle adjustment in the future update.

I liked it but I have little patience for the random encounters. I reached the forest behind the gate and seeing that it's labyrinth with random encounters.. I just stopped. I really wish you could remove the battles as they add nothing to the storyline, they are just an annoyance for me. Other than that, it looks really nice and it's always nice to see another person doing games with RPG Maker :) keep going!

I liked the pixel-art. And adding properly drawn faces to dialogue was a nice touch! And the fact that you could interact with a street cat, was awesome. Excellent work!

Great job on making a solid experience! It felt thought through and very complete in many ways! As listed below, I also wasn’t able to talk to the shop owners (I just assumed you weren’t able to get the feature done in time). Nevertheless, it was a great game! I would have loved to see a feature that would make it stand out in comparison to the many other games of this style, but as what it is, you did very well. Also! I loved your music choices and the changes to create mood. Overall, great game! :)

I also glad that you enjoy the game. As you experience the game is not perfect and do have flaw in it. But overall as a game maker i aslo feel complete to finish such a game in a limited timeline. Actually i almost cancel the cave map two days before the jam closed, because i felt not confidence to be able to QA test the game and resolving bugs in less than a day if i implement the last two maps.


But here it is..., as it is.

I do enjoy the process of making a game and much more when the game could be played and enjoyed by many players. Every feedback is also important to enhancing my tought and growing ideas more and more.

Solid old fashion RPG game. Has well made maps, characters and even good cut scenes.

As other ppl mentioned, the battle engagement was a bit quick for me too. Stoped at "find the brother" part (forgive my bad patience LOL).

One small thing I noticed: after the battle the game stuck and the result page for like 15 second, had me thought my game crashed...not serious bug or anything but would be nice if it could be fixed.

Thankyou for the review and feedback. The browser version seems to have the issue that you mentioned, maybe it is because the processing data in the itch.io server takes too long time and generating error.

The convenient version has been uploaded (Windows/Mac/Linux) version available to download and they also have save&load function included.

Very good game, but I cannot find save button, and it seems I cant talk to any shop, they ignore me :')

Thankyou for playing the game. Since the resource files of the browser version are hosted in the itch.io sever the save functions will not work eventually. But in the near future i will update the downloadable version to have a save function, lengthen the storyline, and also fix some detail mistakes that i made in this version.


For the shop that is not responding, maybe because you use a mobile browser i guess. I also try once in the mobile browser and the shop event is not responding unless we click the player sprite in front of the shop character.

Looks really polished for an RPG Maker game!

Sadly, couldn't find a way to save and it crashed.

I don't think it  was due to the game's fault actually, my PC had a buggy moment and some applications closed.

Couldn't really find any bugs or crashes within the game itself, thus far! I got up to unlocking the forest gate.

very good. game play was smooth and engaging. the timing for battle engagement was too quick to the point it became frustrating...........and i was 35 mins in. Overall, i did enjoy though.  You ought to give more time to explore than engage in battles.
another thing i found that the game speed sped up for some reason when i explore outside the village.

Hi, thankyou for the feedback and for playing the game. I will improve the details of game experience in the future projects or in the next JAM projects i'll join.
Yes you right about the game phase that speed up at the late game, since the game is for a limited time JAM project and the submission date was getting close back then, so i do make mistake on the details when developing it.  After the rating phase in the game JAM  i have plan to update the game and lengthen this game storyline also.
