i liked the idea a lot and it was so tense trying to pick a number but the code seems to be a little wonky. i didn't always get hints, i saw one hint with a stray parenthesis, and i got an error on the you win screen.
This game was so fun. I was stressed trying to pick the right cups. I think the NPC's were great too. I liked the old guy. He was pretty funny. I think the two NPC's played well off of each other. I loved the way the text is presented and the coding is impressive because I have no idea how to go about doing this kind of game. Well done. The only issue I had was a syntax error after I won the game. Said the data type was "incorrect. I would have liked to see more than the black screen though. A color change or picture of a tavern would be cool.
It is a great idea to include some background information about the two NPCs and lists of adjectives that distinguish them from each other. It seems they changed throughout the game, depending on what is going on (clever idea). I like the generation gab between the young trying to take over the old one and vice versa, it creates a dynamic between them.
The game was super fun! I'm impressed by the coding that was put into place. I liked how both guys sounded crazier and weirder over the course of the game - I really felt like I was in a tense situation! There seems to be a bug when choosing your last drink, as the game says I didn't enter a valid number, but I had. Besides that little hiccup, very fun experience, well done!
